Not that impressive, I saw arse_sidewards build spindles for a trailer the same way .

That's one weird chode of a spindle. I'm surprised they didn't bevel and weld the joint where they threaded and pinned that disc in but maybe they did after the fact.

Yeah I basically do the reverse to get the spindle out of 2wd knuckles to make trailer axles. Works great but I might try some unit bearing cups and Chevy wheel bearings next time.

I broke a 36" with a cheater on it to make it a 6'er. The hook broke in the same spot, I would just weld the piece that broke off right back on.
