I just sold my KP 609 with 1/2 ton brakes, inner and outer shafts with a 60" WMS for 1800. No third or hubs. Definitely a sellable item, just gotta find the right person like everyone has previously said. Probably helped I'm in Washington state where most people like the narrower stuff for the trees.

Ford 9", Dana 60's, something better than the AMC 20 and Dana 30 that's in there. I am installing an L33, 4L60e and D300. Pretty sure the AMC20 will lose it's shit.

I'll inquire about towing a small trailer or taking one of my shitboxes (probably a no because no A/C, no bluetooth tunes and 2x the fuel cost)

I'll be going between Asheville NC, Gatlinburg, and Knoxville/Crossville next week, but flying down there and back from NJ. I'll have some sort of SUV thing so I can move stuff in that region or just go take a look if needed, but no luck on bringing anything back north.

It's not my car. I brought up the idea of taking one of my shitboxes but that is a 100% non-starter (and I don't blame her)
If they could wind up on yet a third trailer adorning crispins' parking lot that would be ideal.
I'll see if I can sell the idea of chucking these on the roof from TN to NC and then chucking them in the car from there north after I offload.
I have pads (rear seat foams with wood load spreaders) that make roof hauling non-damaging to "nice" cars but it's still a big ask.
Can you drop them at bgaidan's place? It's ~3hr East of Asheville.

I'm ok either way but would help plan.

After 7pm but before 10pm seems like a reasonable bet.
This is my plan for that day.
I'm checking out before 8am and Mammouth cave national park will take 3-4hr.

I am not willing to spend my limited political capital adding a stop "so I can pick up dumb axles" (or however it would be interpreted).
If you can recommend a restaurant in the area then that would probably work.
And do you have a known total weight for these?
The Prius is pretty generous in its GWV and I'm not above being well over but I need to know how it affects my travel speed the following day.
