You don’t have to drain it. Just flop the PS pump and bracket out of the way. 1 bolt on the front of the motor and 3 on the side.

Take the fenders and hood off first.
Then remove tire and inner wheel liner.

Pull the #4 spark plug wire & drop the exhaust pipe, then fire it up and blip the throttle a few times.

Won't help w/ the alternator but it'll make those WRX vroom-burble-bum-bum noises

A real mechanic would remove the engine completely.

As I processed that I have both a Subaru and a 22RE Toyota. But the Toyota has a Ford alternator, which probably means I have to take the body off.
