Discussed with his team and got their support for it, faces multiple questions from reporters who refuse to listen to his detailed answers

spoiler alert, woke liberals are still bigots

edit: if you don't want the ABL commentary, start at 1:15 and end after the inerview

Boy the media can't comprehend why a black man would step out of line. Good on him.

it's the best.

its the same and the opposite of the other sportsball player Kolin KapernicK. KKK made his protest and people said "okay, provide substance" and he could not. "derp derp, white people raised me and made me wealthy but they are bad and i need an angle to keep my job cuz i can't throw the ball"

this guy makes his protest and people say "okay, provide substance" and he does, so they respond with "error 404: reload page, repeat question"

He blew his knee out tonight. Shame. He blew it out last year and probably came back to soon.

I don’t follow the sport, still sucks he got injured. I wish him a speedy recovery, and hope he continues to stand for the national anthem. If he can’t stand for the national anthem during his recovery, at least he has a good reason 🇺🇸

Worst mic ever? The feedback is louder than his voice and I'm struggling to hear him. I need a transcript.

I remember an interview with Wayne Simmons years back, might have been when Philly was playing Toronto (where he grew up).

The interviewer asked Wayne what it was like being black in the NHL, and he straight out chilled that interviewer with his eyes and said: "I'm a hockey player". The subtext was "I'm in the fucking NHL, you stupid ****, any other questions?".

It was fucking classic. Wish I could find it on youtube.

NBA basketball player Jonathan Isaac was mocked by ESPN host Dan Le Batard after his knee injury during a game. Isaac is the player who made the news for refusing to kneel or wear a Black Lives Matter shirt during the national anthem before the Orlando Magic's "restart" basketball game. Isaac is a devout Christian and says that all lives are covered in the gospel and that it's not necessary to kneel or wear a Black Lives Matter shirt

whaaat? ESPN hosts make inappropriate jokes, say it ain't so!
