Out sorta

Wife is at a bachelorette party

I dropped her off will pick her up whenever

Currently at Flanigan having nachos and beer

Might go watch a movie to consume time rather then drive all the way home and then come back to pick her up
IIRC; there was a Flanigan's in San Diego once upon a time.

I wonder if it's the same restaurant. 🤔

was finally nice out, so I cut up the belly deck mountings on the big mower, got them mostly figured out how I want them to go back together
pulled some forms from the last arch, cleaned off the subfloor I'm gonna be cutting into pallet racking deck (to make room for the next floor forms)

good amount done today

ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
stupid cloudflare ate my ****ing post
god dammit why

Update,
I finished up a couple projects in the garage and while I was in the house taking a shower the Mrs came home to change out of her swimsuit and into regular clothes.
She’s a puddle already and said “can you give me a ride back there on the golf cart and pick me up later?” I said ya, that might be your best option.
Now I’m doing laundry and dishes and waiting for the message to come pick her up.

Indeed :crybaby2:

I worked in a steak and seafood restaurant through high school. We would make a tub of clam chowder every Sunday, it was amazing.
I had a place I worked at that did a reasonable version of clam chowder... good enough to dish out for lunch when it was around. But, in 45 years, I have yet to find one that is close to the one my dad makes. Huge pot made every time that would disappear in two days with three people :goofball:

Checking in.

I finally saw THE meme: solo driver with a face diaper. Sadly, in a mostly conservative area in Calif.

I'm working myself up for doing full brake job on the Lexus. Hopefully this will also fix the parking brake. A week of brake squeak says time to do it:emb:

In, on call, been brush cutting when I haven’t been called into work.

This was shared with me recently, worked there 10 years ago and was very proud of what I learned and accomplished there.
Pisses me off. **** em.

My first roommate when I got to my first duty station was married to a Filipino. I begged her to teach me how to make Lumpia :homer:
My dad was Navy.

Growing up; every single month one of his Filipino shipmate's would have a birthday party for their kid.
If you know Flips; social gatherings = tons of Filipino food!:grinpimp: :smokin:
I ate like a Filipino prince for 10 years!:laughing::rockon:

THAT sucks. I always order clam chowder when I go out if they have it.
I think k I had it 3 times while we were in Bodega Bay 4 days last week. LOVE IT.

They're a lot of work, but simple. My wife was married to a Pillipino before me. His mom taught her. Shes changed up the recipe a bit to what we like. Well make a huge batch and only cook what we are going to eat then freeze the rest.

Strange day. I grabbed a shower this morning and a couple hours later GF does the same and no hot water. Well GF being the black cloud starts worrying about buying a new water heater. I say nope, tank still good I can fix it, couple hours later and it's good as new. Turns out an overheat happened and tripped the switch, reset that and relit the pilot done.

We went to a local burger joint for lunch and I wish I had my phone with me. A couple comes in and is seated nearby, girl is perfectly normal but the guy (I assume it was a guy) is mighty strange, so strange I was pretty quiet and kept a very close eye on him / her / it.
It's another smokin' hot day and this person has on a thick hoodie with hood up and tied tight along with a mask and a big ol' pair of Beats headphones. He / she/ it wrote their order down and passed it to the server too. Nothing happened before we left so all is good.

Thanks to all of you clam chowder lovers. I put in my order to GF to make us up a gallon or two sometime next week, she makes the second best I've ever had although I tell her she's got the best.

Got a wicked thunderstorm kickin' up and one overjoyed dog and one hiding and whimpering. It's odd that the dominant dog is scared to death and the submissive is taking full advantage of the situation.

Back in.
After I cooled of earlier I put my riding gear on and went for a rip. So far so good, dry under the bike.

Got windy and then some, dust clouds on both end of valleys.

Put the bike away, took myself out to a hole in the wall Mexican, breakfast burrito was what I craved.

Came back home and watered the front lawn, now to see what movie to watch, ain't doing a thing other than that. R&R...
