In, just got home from work, but didnt work. We have an artist who donated a sculpture. He is polishing and sealing it on the weekends with his son and one of his sons friends, trying to teach them how to carve stone.

I brought a light fixture for my MILs house that needs refurbished and worked on that while they worked on the sculpture. Got it all cleaned up, sanded and the first coat of paint on it.

Brought all the fixings and made them carnitas tacos for lunch. They were super appreciative.

Now home waiting on the wife to get back from her friends house. May have a couple beers, may not.

First; my Bronco is inoperable, now my bike is temporarily down.

An SUV hit me today while riding my bike.
Broke two spokes/bent the rear rim.

Dude said he didn't see me.

I checked the trap cam this morning. Something was in the trap! I pulled out the old .22 and dropped a couple shorts in my pocket. I got a stinker! I have three left (we think).

After I turned his lights out I tossed it in the back field around 0830. The cleaning crew showed up around 0930. They had it picked clean by 1340. I couldn't find any bones, and there wasn't any smell. I hope I can put them to work tomorrow.

Not sure what dinner will be. I want to try some weed-eating when it cools down later.

Glad to hear it was not worse, and yes people drive completely oblivious.
 
In until I give up trying to not sneeze and just go to bed again.

Father told son many untrue things about his Dr's appointment this week and the bloodwork results today. I hate having to step and in and say, "No, that's not true, it's ........" I don't know if that's the Alzheimer's causing him to lie about everything or that's just how he's always been. It's 96* outside and father has the space heater on in his room. I thought I was going to pass out in there.

His potassium and calcium levels have been high for a year now. Son found the fake salt in his room he again bought himself, aka potassium, and tossed it. I asked him where the case of Gatorade is that he bought himself this week and he said it's still in his room. We couldn't see it or find it.............. maybe he drank it all in a few days.

Daughter and I went and looked at a XJ and WJ this morning. I’m looking for a spare vehicle/hunting rig. Both were in rougher shape than expected so I passed.
Mowed and trimmed the lawn when I got home.
Took the Monte for a spin after I mowed.
Now I’m puttering around in the garage and drinking a few beers.

It's also not here, it's behind the shop at work. Had to drive all the way back across town to drop my friend off at his house, didn't feel like driving 30 min again back the other direction. Plus it's storming it's ass off now. Can't pull it in the shop right now because it's so full of **** at the moment either. I gotta go back up there tomorrow anyway to see what's up with the Jeep.
