In. Didn’t do too much today. Last night we went to the Sammy Hagar best of both worlds concert. It was absolutely awesome. :smokin: They played for 2 hours. It could have easily been 4 hours. Just an enjoyable party the whole time.

Sammy, Micheal Anthony, Joe Satriani, Jason Bonham and some guy from Australia

In. Took a couple saws for a hike around mom's place murdering little maple trees before they turn into big problematic maple trees. Gonna have to climb and trim a couple by the house that she won't let me eliminate fully.

Came home and the top for my welding table was just coming off the FedEx truck, put that together. Been lounging since then.

I've got the Sony and they're pretty dang good especially the battery life. I've got a dozen hours in so far and it's still telling me they are at 90%

The Sonys are less expensive and have a better case , and can connect to multiple devices where the max’s can’t . The only reason I hadn’t bought them is I didn’t realize you could talk on the phone etc with them .
 
Checking in, but not losing tonight.

We are officially on vacation for the next ten days. We have the trailer packed. Finalizing a few things (Mrs pre-cooking some beef and chicken). 12 volt fridge is ready to go for the road. Pup sitter is briefed (we would take him, but dealing with irresponsible pet owners would kill our trip, and probably their loose pets).

Mrs bought a small blender on a whim for smoothies or something. This evening she said she was going to let it go. I said, “Hold on… let me give it the margarita test!”. It passed with flying colors. We now have a trailer blender :grinpimp:

In, Farmers Market with wife this morning, got an orange cinnamon roll, few hours booger welding tabs to relocate seat belts on the golf cart, pulled out the tig welder, then decided it wouldn’t work any better cause the foot pedal, and squirted some metal between 2 other pieces of metal. Bought some ammo for SIL to go sight in rifles tomorrow and about shit my pants. $1.25/round for 6.5 creedmore, and $2/rd for 300 win mag. Just finishing homemade pizza, and gonna sit in the hot tub, cause I replaced the heater element a couple of days ago. Gonna finish a few things and spray paint the rzr mods tomorrow getting ready for Moab on Thursday!

I never did get that beer with ya.
 
I did some scope swaping on my .17 and .22.

Got the athlon 3x12 from rockmup and been staring at it trying to decide what to use it for.

The $60 3x9 i got with the .17 upper has been fine, but a hair more mag would be nice.

The .22 got a tasco 3x9 earlier this year but i havent been happy with it. Always tuning it.

So the athlon went on to the .17 and the no name 3x9 onto the .22. The hieght works better on it too.

Q45, turned all that shit from her into smoke & noise. Nitrous would probably let it hang fourth gear. Monkied around with the fans, didn’t overheat, was going to change the oil but meh. Chopped the exhaust pulled all the abd tcs fuses and disabled the rear brakes. It was in its sweet spot at 30-34 sec

GF and I did a Costco / groceries run and not much else. Kinda thinkin' I might put the race on but I doubt it. It's a fend for yourself night so for me it's gonna be a big ol' bowl of GFs beans and some roast chicken all spooned onto saltine crackers, yea it sounds weird but I really enjoy it.:laughing:

There was a couple times were she said she had to stop for a pee break, or "hey one of yous needs to help me up what the heck" lol

Unfortunately pretty much all my pics look like hell.. everything came out blurry. Not impressed with my phone tonight

Thinking about a fishing trip in Sept. called the only motel near the lake $120 a night! Damn I guess I either make it a day trip or I'm buying camping gear, so I have spent the afternoon searching, long gone are the days of me taking a 20x20 plastic tarp seat cushions off the couch and some rope...

Cost of camping gear might be the same as a couple nights but do you really want to store it.

Second what is within an hours drive of the area for hotel or motel options.

Sammy put on a free show in Vegas in '94? You had to win tickets through calling in to the local rock station (KOMP) I won tickets...That was one of the best shows I've ever seen! He is an excellent performer!

It was definitely one of the most entertaining shows I have ever been too. It was like a big ass party. People up front would give Sammy hats and shirts and he would sign them while trying to keep singing. :laughing: when playing Mas Taquila he opened a bottle grabbed a bunch of cups and handed out taquila shots. :smokin: Then gave the rest of the bottle to someone. :laughing: Tossed out some beers, chugged a few himself. :beer: Just awesome.

I slept on one for a while growing up. Eventually the material stretches enough that you are sleeping on the bars that support the structure. I had a coleman one for camping about five years ago on the 4th of July I slept on it in the backyard so the dogs wouldn't be scared of the fireworks as I was waking up in the morning the frame broke and I fell on the ground :homer:. Both were military knock off style.

26 miles from town to the lake, one motel $110 a night, the BB I haven't called. Buddy has a ranch house he inherited about 20 miles to the north, making it a 30 mile trip to town through 2 locked gates, I haven't been out there in years and I don't want to have to fight the rodents. Plus the motel does have a reseraunt near by which is a plus
The storage is a thought
