In. Ran errands. Did some work on dad's house. Wife and I met the daughter to get Christmas trees. Cleaned random spots on the house that never get cleaned in preparation for wife's christmas party next Friday.

Not a lot of them know me, so when I walked in the house last year with my normal resting asshole face, people started talking and just moved as I made my way to our drysink/bar and started making a ****tail. It was hilarious:laughing:

Driving home from erie pa, long day seeing the daughter and family.
Good for another 6 months.
My favorite strip club is in Erie, well technically Waterford, but close enough.

In. Got a little done around the house but not much. Should have gone into the woods this morning but didn't. Currently making chicken stock and repairing the vacuum cleaner.

In. Spent the morning in the woods with a chainsaw stump jumping leaners out of the good trees at mom's place. It's almost impressive how all the alders decided to die in the past year. Apparently the rain/wind last week was enough to drop two more that were nice enough to make it to the ground but blocking trails. On my way back down the hill I noticed the side of this snag (another root rotten alder) had opened up some, chunks of rotten wood laying on the ground around it. Heavy lean toward **** I didn't want to land a tree on so I took the time to get a cable up in it and went to pre-tension it with the winch on the quad and barely got the slack out (Basically the weight of the cable) over she went, no saw needed other than getting it out of the trail.

In. Replaced some shelves in the garage. Started at 9 thinking it would only take an hour or two and I could go kayaking after. Took 7 hours including lunch. I don't even know how it took that long. So no kayaking today, and it suppose to storm tomorrow. At least I have some extra storage room now. Now it is time to find some food.

Started snowin' 1st thing this morning and it's just fixin' to quit about now. I was gonna run out and snow blow but we got a serious wind coming in from the side I wanna blow the snow to, guess it can wait till morning.

Bailey's and coffee for now and GF made us a nice cottage pie for dinner. Kinda lookin forward to some Netflix in bed after.

Checking in.

I didn’t do a whole lot today. Mrs went with her dad to the annual extended family Christmas gathering. I had a few things to do around the house so I stayed home. Gave me a chance to wrap Mrs Christmas presents.

One of my tasks was to clean out the dead and dying garden plants. I have a medium-ish size garbage can I use for collecting ”green waste” to take it to the larger container. I found this little guy in the green waste can. He got in but couldn’t get out. I put him in a sunny spot on the deck where the pup wouldn’t bother him.

Mrs should be on her way home. I need to figure out something for dinner for me. I’m going to start with rum&coke

My youngest daughter and here husband came into town and bought a 16 Yukon denali loaded to the gills. Well they moved all there junk over and got a new hitch for the utility trailer. When they went to leave the damn thing was stone dead. Hit the start button and you get the dash to black out. Well we checked all the connections and struck out. Load tested the battery, not great but not bad. Pulled the fuse box and reset every thing. Tapped on the starter, no good.
So we disconnected everything charged the battery and took a break for a while.
The more i thought about it, i remember my 16 2500 Silverado that i bought brand new did the same ****. It did it twice but just worked when i came back to it later. I had a buddy that worked at the GM house ask around to see if he could find something out. A couple months later he tells me they had a run of bad starters. So we go back out and hit it pretty good and a bit of power starts making it happen. Then it busts right off like a champ. Now it will start right up.
Having a drink now watching ghost rider.

Spent the morning studying for my basic (general) license, afternoon was shopping (blech), and the wife is off to a dinner party so it's me and the dogs. Which I just found out that our newest is not a Great Pyrenees, but an Akbash.

Yes, it's supposed to be great. When we were cleaning out the place I inherited in Burbak, our friends that were local said it was awesome. We just never found time between driving back and forth and cleaning the place to actually stop. We plan on going next time down when we ate doing leisurely travel.

Swung by the American legion to watch the army navy game and have a few brews.
Flagstaff had a Christmas parade and I rode in the Masons fire truck. I was worried I'd have to walk the route, my knees have been ****ing up more lately.
