That's me man. And the war department. We're both 50. My boy is 23
Ahhh, was thinking it was your kid and his bride.

I had a job interview that they called bull**** on my 25yrs experience. "Yeah, sure buddy, did you start at 2yrs old? Harrharrharr.... uh... no, started in the 90s, in high school...

Had to pull out my license, no one believed my age. Guess that's good. Sure feel old and broken though.

Beat. Hauled another trailer of firewood home, then got all of it split and tossed in the wood pit. Still gotta stack up the rest.

My husky 372s aftermarket muffler fell apart. Again :homer:

More of the same tomorrow, this time for my brother.

Relaxing on the couch with a beer now. I think we’re doing leftovers for dinner

Bought a ‘09 Toyota Camry today for our 15yo daughter to drive to school. Did a few errands around the house. Now I’m sitting in the recliner with one of the dogs on my lap surfing the net. Going to bed early tonight so I can get up and bow hunt tomorrow morning

In, went to two fishing stores with the wife to get her some of her own tackle and replace what we lost or needed and didn't have on our last trip.

Came home and assembled my forst AR. Safety isn't very smooth but works and the rear takedown pin just doesn't seem right, like it's supposed to have a spring and detent pin, but doesn't have a spot for it.

MIL is coming over for dinner. Wife made potato leek soup and I'm relaxing having a few beers.

Checking in.

We got up earlier than usual for a Saturday morning. The wind forecast for today had gusts up to 50mph, I have been looking for “The day” to take down the shade cloth from the back deck for the season. The wind was light as I started removing the bungee cords from the frame. The humming birds were not happy. Then, as the last bungee was removed, the wind picked up. We now have a 12 inch tear in one of the corners 🤨

On to the next project…

We have a couple solar/wifi cameras watching our perimeter. I have been wanting to put a camera near the front of the property to get a view of the gates. Today I got my wish. Working with our nephew who lives in the main house, we figured out the best place (for now) to install the camera. We plan on adding cameras to the main house and tweaking their wifi. No sketchy people sneaking up on us 😈

Mrs has beans in the Instapot, and it’s time for rum :grinpimp:

Tomorrow is Monday

spring and detent comes in from the back behind the stock or up from the PG, I forget which
pretty sure the rear pin is the stock and the safety is the PG

safety can sometimes be forced on when the hammer is down, don't do that, only operate it with the hammer back
