In.

Didn’t do much this morning. I want to replace the griddle in the outside kitchen on the trailer with a propane cooktop. I surfed the web most of the morning, I think I found a cooktop I like.

We actually left the property for a little while to get lotto tickets. On the way home we got stuck behind a pretty nasty wreck on the highway. Someone had to be cut out of a classic Mopar 😢

Mrs wants Lumpia for dinner. We have some frozen Asian stuff from Costco to go with the Lumpia, I guess that’s dinner :homer:

I have tomorrow off. I think it’s a “headphones and tunes” night after Mrs goes to bed :grinpimp:

In. Supper was a bust. Chocolate chip ice cream made up for it. Got prepped to leave at 0500 tomorrow for k rocks. Cleaned the gutters today. Watching frieburger talk about afr meters.

I almost forgot. I wasn’t a complete slug today.

Our fridge is almost thirty years old. The little part that “automatically“ closes the door in the last couple of inches has been worn out for a while. I’ve had the repair parts for a couple weeks, today I finally fixed it.

Original parts on left, new on the right.

In. Tinkered on stuff over at mom's some. Put Dad's car on the battery tender so she doesn't kill the new battery by not driving it. Probably ought to buy 3-4 more and put them on the rest of the things that sit around over there.

Mostly been lazy since I got home, had one too many plates of spaghetti for dinner, probably gonna be stuck to my chair the rest of the night.

save the old one that's still good, looks like it'll eventually see use lol

Rolled in at 130am, week was a bust work wise.
Was in Vegas since late Tuesday dealing with dispatch/slimy brokers/load cancellations...

So I left Vegas empty and gunned it home last night :) Fugg it...

Got my moms Visible service up and running, had to deal with a ton of doorknobs between Verizon and Visible customer service. New phone took care of their incompetence.
What an ordeal, and maroons all over.

Now watching some college ball and riding couch.

Took my kids camping for 2 days. They saw no television for almost 72 hours and my kid thought the stars and planets in the sky (app assisted) were cool. They road their four wheeler and blazed new trails on private property like good spoiled entitled rich white kids.

Edit: trying to find some bibs I can leave in my trailer to wear camping. Previous thread bumped for feedback. Apparently ‘Carhart sucks’ and so does a lot of other stuff.

It’s a great way to make an otherwise solid roof leak water.

:flipoff2:
There's lots of plusses to it, I know :flipoff2:

Used the leaf blower to get mounds of leaves out from behind the toolbox and noticed the front of the bed is no longer welded and the joint along the bottom let's light through.

More holes would fit the theme of the pickup :rasta:

Pondering cab marker/clearance lights for the pickup. Wife doesn't think I'm old enough for them but is generally ambivalent. I'm not too sure I'm ready to commit to them.

So, I'm in
Part of the reason I glued insulation to the inside of the roof on my dentside was to make it annoying to put cab lights on. I used to really enjoy how bothered **********ers would get by my old brick nose F350 having a Lund visor and cab lights (3 on each side, tucked between the mounting areas of the visor). Always "Just get a moon visor" like the ****ers grow on trees, plus then I'd only have 5 lights like a normie.

Oh yeah, **** I've got a couple layers of insulation and deadener on the roof now.

Visor and lights, that'd be neat. And just cost prohibitive enough to never go through with it. Thanks, added to the plan :smokin:

In, about to crash.

“Let the tool do the work”

Never said let them work together.

Fixed the swaybar mounts. Need to fish some interfering nuts into the framerail on the other side.

Grinding fun tomorrow.
that has to be the best drill press Ive seen yet

Well...done for tonite, the threads in the center collar on the upper beam had stripped out, had to order a 14x1.5 heli coil kit...used exactly one :lmao:
Waiting on rear wheel seals so I can finish the rear bearings, and will prolly move the spring plates up one spline...damn thing is too low ( I know, Im old ). ****, I had to jack it up onto 2x4s before I could get it in the lift :homer:
Hopefully will have time to finish this week so I can drive it some more before ****ty weather sets in.

Putting air in a low tire turned into flat repair and a full drum brake job and hub seals. On a truck I had the rear brakes done not even a year ago.

One side was full of gear oil and the other had maybe 25% lining. Makes no sense, maybe 1000 miles on them at most.

And i realized after I got the tire home he shop just stuck a temporary plug in the tire and called it ok.
Wtf?! I could have done that for almost free. Needs a proper repair.

Noticed as well the D60 needs a tube seal. Ive used 4wd maybe 100 miles in 3 years. It's a 97 F350 7.3L c&c with 65,000 miles.

Truck was supposed to be a 30 min pre trip and get to work on other **** I'm already behind on. Nope, kill a whole day, and still not done, Schucks gave me the wrong hub seals.

China wheels, “ roo squint rike us it rook round.”

One side done.
