Small drill chuck with 1/4" shank?

I want to spin it to see what kind of voltages they put out at certain speeds with various windings. Not like it remotely matters to anyone. Just need to couple them.

Strange it is... :flipoff2::laughing:

Planning on making an isolated power supply?

Negative. I like having motors around for whatever they can be used for. Currently thinking on a mini wind turbine or something. Might use another to power my lathe and so on.

I was probably 10 or 11 when I figured out that spinning small dc motors would make power. So naturally I started ripping shit apart for the motors to spin motors to light lights.:homer:
Horse shit.

When you were that age you were eating bugs and trying to keep a family of time travlers from being eaten by dinosaurs and sleestacks.

Brushless RC motor to 1\4 shaft?

Just buy a prop adapter and screw a coupler into it.

Anyway, looks like I'm gonna grab a mini chuck like said, and another with 3/8" capacity and 3/8" shank that I'll stick in the rotary whittler to turn down to 1/4" so I have a couple sizes to test a bunch of motors.
