Small drill chuck with 1/4" shank?

You mean shit like this? Amazon is filled with these things...

got one like this with a 1/4" shank that I use in collets for little tiny 'number' size drills
Like that, but hopefully one that opens big enough to accept 8mm or 3/8".

What's is the application?
I'm collecting a few smallish brushless RC motors that I want to toy with. Only machine I have at the moment that is capable of spinning as fast as the RC motors is my Milwaukee brushless router that has a 1/4" collet.

I am down to one eye at the moment, but I'm clearly not the only one that isn't able to pick up what you're laying down
First motor I want to test has an 8mm shaft. I want to find a chuck with a 1/4" shank to accept 8mm. 1/4" chuck shank will fit into my 1/4" router collet.

Still have my corded Craftsman router, now that I think about it. But I never could get the 1/2" collet in it.

I do believe you're going to need to explain to the class why you would like to couple your router to a brushless DC motor?

I'm really confused on just how that could be remotely useful, or even entertaining. So I'm assuming there's something you're not explaining or you're just a very strange man...

I want to spin it to see what kind of voltages they put out at certain speeds with various windings. Not like it remotely matters to anyone. Just need to couple them.

My smart ass answer was going to be that he was going to solve the energy shortage problem :lmao:.
