Crock pot, slow cooker, you know what they are. What are ya cooking in them?

pork loin (modified from the other site):

5# pork loin cut it in 4's to fit it into the pot.
1 bag Small potatoes cut in quarters.

1 jar pepperochini peppers.
1/2 bag of baby carrots, cut in half’s.
4-6 or more celery stalks, diced up.
About 1/2 white or yellow onion.
1 (and maybe a little more) chicken or beef broth
Your favorite seasoning (something like cajon seasoning works well)

-Put a layer of everything on the bottom, except the peppers (all potatoes need to be on bottom)
-
a layer of seasoning
-
Season the pork loin cut in 4s and put it in
-Add more veggies and peppers until full
-Broth to the top
-7 to 8 hours on low

I've won several chili cookoffs with this recipe.

1 Package Johnsonville beer brats
1lb 80/20 ground chuck
1 or 2 whole pickled jalapenos, diced
3 TBSP Chili powder
1/2 of a softball sized white onion, chopped
2 Cans of "western style" beans. You may find them as "Ranch style" or "texas style"
1 14/16 oz can of crushed San Marzano tomatoes
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tbsp mustard of your choice (I use beaver brand mustard)
1 tsp cayenne
1/2 tbsp tony chacheries seasoning
3 cans/bottles of your favorite beer
1 quart beef stock

Crack a beer for yourself. Put the brats in a smoker at 225/250 until they are done this usually takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Don't overcook the brats. They will turn into jerky (ask me how I know this).

While the brats are smoking, brown beef and pour off 1/2 of the grease. Place remaining grease and browned meat into crockpot. Put other ingriedents in crock pot except for the beer and beef stock. Crack a beer for the chili and pour it in. Place crock pot on low.

Once brats are done, bring them inside and let them rest for 20 to 30 minutes. Chop up brats and put in crock pot. Stir to combine. Fill crock pot with beef stock to almost cover your chili.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours stirring every 2 hours or so. If the liquid level gets low, add more beer. If the chef's buzz gets low, add more beer.
