I built the M1008 first with a Cummins and NV4500. Several years later I used it for parts to build the K30. It has been reliable towing my enclosed gooseneck except for the NV4500 which needs another set of countershaft bearings.

The blue and white one was a 1975 C35 that I bought from a junk yard for $500. I swapped the body onto an M1008 frame, with a 10 bolt up front and a the original 14bolt, did an 4.8L LS swap with a 4l80e/NP205. I just got done installing a freshly rebuilt Dana 60 with an OX locker.

The M1009 was an impulse purchase. It came to me from a loving owner that had the trans rebuilt, brake stuff replaced and converted to regular brake fluid, 5 new tires, and a nos rear axle because the gov bomb went off.
