And yet, $66K a year is still basically dog shit for anyone even semi skilled. Even if you beat flag times the dealership just makes that much more money off you.
 
Advance is always offering 20-35% off online orders and you can pickup in store the same day; sometimes they offer free delivery to the house within a day.

If you can’t find the coupon code, just leave an item in the shopping basket for an hour or 3 and they’ll email you a discount offer of 15-25%.

If you forget/ don’t have time to order online , a good store manager will just give you a discount or match Amazon pricing if you ask politely/ explain your case reasonably that you’ll order online or go to Amazon if they can’t get closer on the net cost.

Plus annual bonuses based on commission. We treat our guys right. We live in a lower COL area so that really isn't bad.

The tech that left in 2021 to work at said dealership has since been fired for refusing to take a pay cut.

Sure you can claim the warranty but you still eat the labor and the customer suspects your work because the repair didn't last. yeah that was my though as well. It's all the same crap from China or India, if that's all your giving me I'm not paying more for it. Want to give me a better part, yeah I'd pay or wait for that.

There was a clothing place making nice stuff here in the US for several years and they fit well so I was buying alot from them. They decided to change everything over to China, I asked when the prices where going to drop as their overhead is now considerably less. Oh no we are not changing prices, we are providing a higher rate to the China laborer's to help them prosper. :shaking: Yeah sure you are, haven't bought from them since.
