Anyone have links to decent yet budget minded shop/metal working consumables? I realized I have next to none as we packed up everything when moving my buddy out of state so I have to restock.

Last time I dumped $400 at empire abrasives and stocked up on cutoff wheels, grinding wheels, flap disks, rolocks for 3" and 4.5" grinders.
I'll order from them again but trying to save a little $$ if possible.

Thanks
Gabe

There is a seller who advertises on here roarke supply. Grinding discs, cut off wheels, etc.

Also found a seller on ebay "toolman-usa" who sells packs of flap wheels for cheap. Thats the best deal I found on flap wheels so far. They are decent quality, dont last as long as the good ones but get the job done. https://www.ebay.com/itm/142883220773

Awesome, thats what I'm looking for. Just some cheap bulk stuff to get going, Ill buy better quality stuff once back rolling.

Thank you, Much appreciated

I buy all my grinding stuff from Benchmark Abrasives, good quality and cheap. They had a deal a while back that may still be going on where you got 10 4.5" flap disks for the cost of shipping.

I have liked the benchmark abrasives. I want to try the Roak ones at some point.

I've bought a ton of stuff from these folks. Never a problem.

Roark is good too. Haven't bought a lot from them though.

I know a lot of people like Lehigh but I had a headache with them. Forgot 25% of the order, blamed it on the shipping manager who left, but then kept claiming they would fix it but didnt. After a couple months when it was getting near the limit for a CC dispute and a lot of emails and phone calls they refunded my money. Plus what I got from them was pretty bottom of the barrel for quality.

If you don't need stuff now I've had good luck putting price watches on amazon warehouse deals for high quality stuff. Walter and others seem to pop up on super discount every few months due to damaged packages or stuff that sat too long.

Update us on what you think! Roark is my go-to for this stuff, never had any problem with them so far.

I ordered them yesterday and just got done putting them away..Fast delivery haha. The quality "looks/feels" better than the last bulk order I did from a different vendor a couple years ago. Ill report back with how they perform after this weekend. Got some grinding/cleanup to do on my welding table and the 3600 chevy I'm working on.
