What's new

She said it out loud...................................

The reasons she state dont jive. She was all anti weapons of war then suddenly she leaves the dems and says with her military career she has seen how important it is for citizens to have guns to defend themselves. Yet when she was anti weapons of war she still had all that military experience under her belt.

So she either lied to get dem power. Is lying to try and get repug power. Or is flat out stupid and doesn’t know what she thinks. Either way her 2nd amendment stance shouldn’t be trusted one bit. If she holds this course for at least 6-8 more years then sure. But as of now its just words. IMO
Or... she just changed her mind based on things she experienced.

How do you think Trump likely felt about 2A during his Democrat days? He grew up an NYC trust funder. It wasn't like he was out there beating around the farm as a kid, trusty old .22 at his side. People change their minds. Sometimes it's authentic, sometimes it's out of convenience, and sometimes it's about recognizing the need for rights they used to not value and maybe still don't personally but they understand the need to respect those rights for society as a whole.

I don't keep track of politicals. Have no interest and nothing i can do will affect them.

It always amazes me how some people act like they know, for certain, what someone they really don't know thinks and their motivations.

Did you bother to read my posts? I think Trump sucks on the 2nd amendment.

I’m not saying she hasn’t changed. But only someone who is willfully ignorant of the last 40+ years of America politics would completely disregard the massive history of politicians on both sides of the aisle saying what they felt they need to in order to gain support. Otherwise known as the “flip flop” or “flip flopping”. I also said if she shows a track record over a decent period of time that would go a long way towards showing she means what she says now. 🤷‍♂️

And Trumps record on the 2nd sucks.
“Take the guns and let the courts sort it out”. “Just ban bump stocks”

i am a little torn on this because if its good for on thing its good for all things. IMO a president should have this stance on principal, presidents should not be EO their wishes.

the courts are an absolute mess and im not sure how we fix that because ultimately that is where the govt gets their power currently.

If you want to change that you'll have to change the constitution.

Article III of the Constitution governs the appointment, tenure, and payment of Supreme Court justices, and federal circuit and district judges. These judges, often referred to as “Article III judges,” are nominated by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

the real solutions lies in the senate not being idiots, but as long as its made up of people who are beholden to the their side of the aisle we are out of luck.
