So I work in a pretty remote place and there has been an abandoned RV as well as a boat quite a ways from anything on the side of the road...way longer than this pup has been there.


Today I got a call from a delivery driver a few hours after he left the site and he seems really confused about the motor home and boat. But whatever he's not a local.

Anyways, he had stopped and seen a dog in the motorhome and thought to call me when he had service again.


After work (1900) I grabbed some waters and a bucket and went on my way.


DOODs...I pulled up to the MH and this little cutie popped up.

Crazy happy to see a person, gave her some water and she hopped right into the jeep.

Leashed her up and down the road we went.


The wife has something out on the local sites.

Shes a well behaved Chocolate Lab.


She's either lost or abandoned.


Either way she's Friday until or unless some one claims her.


Well have her checked for a chip on Monday.


If no one chimes in...




She'll always be Friday.

That’s a score. Brown dogs are dumb as all hell, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything
 
There's a saying, "a pet picks it's owner, an owner doesn't pick the pet", or something like that. Looks like Friday found a new owner, congrats.
 
Take to a vet and have them check for a microchip. Some kids wondering where his dog is.

Yes, please return her too me. I dont know how she made it that far
 
Update on Friday...




While the wife did not get a chance to get to a vet today we did get a hit on the facespace

We are being careful and left the original post vague on purpose... Mostly because people suck and we wouldn't want to just give her back to some rando that wasn't actually her owner



Anyhow...someone contacted us tonight stating that they had lost her and sent some pictures...She appears to be the same dog, we are told she is indeed chipped.


However. When we offered for the person to come get the pup they declined.


We explained at that point that we would be taking the dog to the vet in the morning and verifying at least names.





This is mostly for CenKaren.


If we lost one of our family members(dogs) we would have driven to the end of the planet to get them day or night.


Anyhow...the wife is sad and I am gonna go look for a chocolate maroon lol.
