Does anyone know if Ruger switch the barrel thread into the receiver from the acme thread of the past to 60 degree thread?
I know this was being talked about at the plant years ago and was hoping Ruger finally made the switch. The machine to align the barrel onto the receiver was unique and a pain in the ass due to the forces required to turn acme thread a few extra degrees once it was tight.
