What's new

Rogan and Trump

I haven’t watched it yet, but Joe being a Bernie guy, did he ask Trump about UBI at any point?

Lex Friedman is a better interviewer, and I listened to him interview Trump. Rogan is a lot more combative and interactive. Rogan and Friedman are friends, Friedman has been pressuring Rogan to have Trump on for years. Friedman invited Kamala to come on and the Dems have rejected the opportunity. Bernie of course went on to fluff her stupid ass and tell everyone that Trump is a danger to democracy. Fucking commie tool bag, :shaking:

I am actually shocked that JRE had Trump on. I’ve been listening to Rogan for years. He’s said on multiple occasions that he didn’t want to have Trump on, because he didn’t want to help Trump. Said it would probably be an entertaining interview but doesn’t want to help him somehow. Trump has been asking JRE to be on for years as well. They’ve been mentioning eachother for years.
A couple years ago I'd have agreed. But I think him being friends with Dave Smith has opened him up to a lot of viewpoints he didn't really see before. That and Dave Smith, Tim Dillon, RFK Jr, Tulsi, etc all endorsing Trump probably have a lot to do with why he had him on.

Timing is also big. Trump isn't as bad about being a loudmouthed asshole as he was 4 years ago. He's toned down some. He still goes on tangents, but they're not as out there as they used to be. Rogan has hinted at Trump support for a few years now without ever directly saying it and I think he's smart enough to have known previously having him on would have hurt him more than it helped.

There's video of Trump and Rogan at UFC events where they're clearly friendly and you can tell Joe is nothing but excited to be talking to him going back a couple years now.

Sometimes push needs to come to shove. If a mentally sick and confused blue pink haired transgender or some stupis twat who thinks leather should be banned have the same right to vote as I do, then maybe its time for me to shove them the fuck back to whereever they came from and stay the fuck away from voting.

Women should not be allowed to vote for a president. No fucks given if that offends some of you, because thats what is seriously fucking this country up.

Tulsi Gabbard would bitch slap your tool ass. :lmao:

I think Shawn Ryan is the best.

I made it about 25 minutes, bunch or nonsensical rambling and boasting, nothing new.

It is interesting how these alternative media outlets are factoring. Remember Kameltoe was 15 minutes late for a 30 minute interview, they manipulated that broadcaster to limit her exposure.

Have to get past the political stuff. Everyone already knows his political stance. When they were on other subjects is when you get a glimpse of Trump the man. Oddly enough, he doesn't appear to be Hitler.

When they were talking about Dana White, Rogan said "He may have played a big part of you being here" to Trump. I got the feeling that Dana asked him to do the interview as a favor.

Roc Doc
IF you comb through all the performative shit and the salesman bluster, he does open up on the 'why' behind the 'what' he says he wants to accomplish.
In all his unpolished reality tv star/real estate developer facade, he's a genuine person and not a construct of a party or a media.

Absolutely. Very well said. I'll add that he is not a party (political) creature. He rose to power in spite of the Republican Party, not because of them. He is the magnifying glass that will burn to a crisp the old Ant guard of McConnel and Graham with Vivek, Vance, Musk and an entire new and much wiser political machine than existed before. Someone get AKnate to vote will ya ? :flipoff2:

Joe's been evolving. I know he said he would never give Trump the platform in the past but his eyes have been widened during this administration and seeing how the media shamelessly protects them. I think he would have done it regardless.

Joe got hammered by the media during covid vax BS. I believe having that in common with Trump is what did it. Not to mention the glaring incompetence of the current administration, He just needed an excuse. I'm glad he did it.

But he's old, tired, and his team has been keeping him hidden :homer:
If you talk to anyone who exclusively consumes TV network news. (Like my parents) that's what they'd tell you. It's crazy how crazy that is.

Seems like we could fix that issue. Fuck TV. I haven't watched it in years.

He’s a commie tool bag but his podcast was actually interesting to me. I dont agree with him on almost all of his platforms, but it was interssting

The fact that it has taken this long for a long form interview with a candidate to happen is absolutely mind blowing. To me, if a candidate (right or left) denied the opportunity to sit for one or more of these, they are completely unworthy of consideration. Denying that opportunity proves that you are either full of shit or hiding things, or both.

I heard rogan mention something in passing like 5 episodes ago about what he would ask trump “when” he interviewed him. Usually he says “if”. I’m very glad that they both stepped up.

I only watch half. All I could manage. ADHD central.

I thought Rogan was fairly friendly "tell us about this awful thing they did to you".

If anyone is for Harris at this point there is nothing that will change their mind. Andrew Cooper got a podcast he does on the side and his audience there is mad that he asked Harris questions….not mad about the questions but mad that he just asked her ANY questions.

I bet you we have silent Harris supporters on this site. Probably the older dudes who still think democrats are for the common man and not the big globalist authoritarian elites they’ve become.
I am older,65, I stopped being D when clinton got elected.

Bernie is a commie. It even Says so in your post
Gotcha, I was gonna take offense to calling Lex a commie.

But yeah, commie MF. I listen to lots of stuff, not because I agree with them. Because I want to hear it from their own mouth what the enemy is working on. Bernie is still everything I ever thought he was. He is perfectly fine with the Dems doing un democratic things to “preserve democracy” from the likes of Donald Trump. And they don’t even see the irony in that. I hate humans!

Honestly, I hoped Trump was going to take this opportunity to talk about legalizing the weed on a federal level. Pushing it back to the states.

I feel like it was a mist opportunity.

Probably won't listen. Trump in a long format is frustrating to listen to. I am already voting for him so real need.

I will bet that Kamala end up going on as well. It's almost to the point where she has nothing to lose. She isn't going to win as things stand now.

Really, what else can they throw at Trump as an Oct surprise? Sex scandal? Been there? Felon? Done? Impeachment? Twice already. On and on.

It would honestly seal her fate and I think they know it.

The only thing Kamala can take for three hours is . .. . . . .. a long line of large :mr-t:

This could be some of that 3D chess stuff. Did you notice that when they were talking about getting together for the interview they both commented on "timing is everything". 10 days out....?

She would be better off just calling her campaign of than going on Rogan. She can't speak for 2 minutes in a controlled environment without it blowing up in her face. Even if Rogan went easy on her, 3 hours is disastrous for her.

Then you've got Rogan, if he thinks something is bullshit he'll call you out on it and hound you til you successfully defend your position or admit you're wrong or full of shit. Even with his close friends he has on he won't let certain things go if he thinks someone is full of it. The first Matt Walsh episode he did he and Walsh got along great for the first hour. Then Walsh said something about gay marriage and Joe hounded him for an hour until Walsh was a stuttering mess and admitted his position was entirely Bible base and had no other basis for his argument.

Can't listen to Rogan, he's an idiot. The theo dude is the same. It's pretty much like watching a monkey interview someone. Idiocracy at its finest.
If you think Theo is an idiot you've got the smoothest brain on this board. He plays a character that's idiotic but he's absolutely brilliant under that character. His interviews are fantastic because people assume he's just dumb because of the character he plays, but he gets a ton of candid info out of people because they lower their guard and his comedic timing constantly does the same thing.
