Currently cannot find the bolts that are made with heads that match a rod end ball radius. I know they're out there (or used to be). Much like a high-misalignment spacer, they were machined with spherical head. Kinda like a button head bolt.

If you know of where to find 'em, post up some links.

all the ones ive seen and work on are actually a misalignment spacer that is countersunk for the bolt head

Gotcha. Been a few years since I've seen the bolts. Can't remember at all who made them.

I'll browse the ID stuff when I can get back on my laptop.

The Giesrer trucks used an integrated bolt/misalignment for the upper spindle pivot. Can't remember who made them. I've never seen one for anything smaller than a 1".

I'd say 1" is about right. Maybe 3/4".

Have an inland source? I had searched for some and everything was overseas.

Currently the Katana Kart. Getting ready to lay out all the control arm parts and pieces.
I take it you don't have access to a lathe. This is a pretty easy mod.

I have a MicroMark 7x16. Making/modding parts is plenty easy. Just depends on whether or not I want to set up to do so. I'm in the midst of building a shed/workshop so that I'm no longer dealing with working in a Hobo Freight mobile garage on a hillside.
