Ratchet straps

I’m in the macs straps camp they are more expensive than your depot/horrible freight/ tractor supply but well worth it I was buying the cheap ones for a long Time but got frustrated with constantly having to replace them. Bought the macs and have had them 3or 4 years now and they still work perfect they are well built and I believe most of there products are USA made.

Not really looking for the strap winches, I'd just bang something together on those
getting just the ratchet binder without the strap is an exercise in frustration
Can find them, but it's cheaper to buy them with the strap.

What are you tying down that you need 4 inch wide ratchet straps?

They were on the side of the road, with a couple clueless-soccerdad crossovers pulled over ahead of them with popped tires from running over (and destroying) the single ratchet binder that fell out with the 18 or so straps.
Really it was a public service that I picked them up. :flipoff2:

All my 4" ratchets came sitting in the back of a parts van I bought but I only got one strap with them.

Are you gonna tell us how nobody needs a magazine that holds more than 30rd or a tire over 35 while you're at it? :flipoff2:

Yeah I could get by with 2" and have so far but more is better.
 
Fastenal makes some pretty good straps. All metal ratchets, plated, seem to fare well after being wet a lot.
