My dog Bella, is having her puppies right now. She's 3/4 Rottweiler, 1/4 black lab. She was born in my living room. Her mom was a purebred Rottweiler I got for my wife, that I had been told was fixed, we lost her to throat cancer 6 months after she had the litter. Her dad was my kids dog, when Bella was born he was about 8, I got him as a puppy, and when the family fell apart I kept him for the rest of his life. The bloodline is super important to us. They where all fierce family protectors. I've seen them all go nose to nose with bears when the kids where near.
The father of this litter is my daughters dog. She got him last summer, he's Husky, pitbull, boxer collie. He's beautiful, and is super high energy, he has a standing jump further than I have ever seen.
Currently, I haven't slept in 3 days. Bella was having what we thought where contractions, and I've refused to leave her side. As I type this, we are 4 puppies in, but I'll update.

Number 5 brings the total so far to 3 girls and 2 boys. This one is mostly white but his entire head is black. Mom is getting super defensive, shes doing amazing. Every puppy that was born in our house , when mom needs ti go out, ive held the puppies on my chest to wait for her, they all spent weeks falling asleep under my beard. This will be the same , mommas gonna be tired later.

my daughter got one of our English bull terrier pups. well she kept here locked up through her first heat, the bitch ran past her at the end of he second heat and was out whoring for 3 days. my daughter was sure she was dead. well she got knocked up and had puppies last night, i have no idea who the dad is. but the look of new pups just makes me feel good.

She wasn't tearing the sacks on the first couple. Her mom was the same. Luckily we haven't had issues getting involved, we're doing minimal work, just starting mom off, but we ended today with a single stillborn puppy and neither the wife nor my dog took it well, being able to intervene was important. Think she's all done now, 9 healthy puppies,, but I'm keeping an eye on her for rhe next day or two

I truly hope so to. Any of my Rottweiler Xs we've been lucky to see 8 to 10 years, Bellas mom got throat cancer at 4, and in 6 months it was beyond quality of life.
