Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) cautions the GOP not to underestimate Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the presumptive Democrat nominee for president, as most Democrat politicians coalesced behind her, and donors have raised 81 million dollars in the first 24 hours of Harris' presidential bid.

Some believe Harris will be an easier matchup for Trump-Vance, while others believe Biden was the easier matchup. However, Cruz, who served with Harris in the U.S. Senate, had a warning for the GOP on his podcast called "The Verdict." He said:

Republicans, I worry, vastly underestimate Kamala Harris. They don’t think very highly of her. They don’t think she’s terribly bright. When you or I bring up Kamala Harris’ name in Republican circles, people laugh. It’s immediately a punchline. I think people are underestimating what billions of dollars of free media of the entire corrupt corporate media complex, pitching her as a combination of Mother Teresa, Oprah and Gandhi.
Cruz reiterated that he believes Trump will win in November, but it will not be a lopsided result, as some are predicting:

Now, I still think Trump wins in November. But this is not a layup. It is not given. And what’s coming in front of us look, if you’re a Democrat, what makes you nervous is chaos, and this much chaos 100 days out is scary. But you know what? Even more scary is going into an election where you’re almost certain to lose, which is where Biden was.
Republican voters can't get complacent. The polls show that Trump will win in November, whether he faces Harris or any of the other Democrat options being floated around, but polls don't vote; people do. Harris and the down-ballot candidates will be defeated by registering more voters to vote for Trump-Vance and reminding everybody you know to vote in droves while highlighting the Biden-Harris administration's failed policies.

Cruz continued, saying he was worried that people were "overconfident" at the RNC. He said that now is not the time for celebrations; those will come after Election Day.

I was very worried at the convention. … I am afraid people were overconfident at the convention. There was an air of celebration. It was, 'We've won. We're on to victory. This is a landslide. Trump's coming back in. We've got a huge Republican majority.'
Look, there’s a time for celebration. Celebrate after Election Day, celebrate after we’ve won. Now is not the time for celebration. Now’s the time for hard work. Now’s the time for rolling up your sleeves and going to win.
From her failures as a "border czar" to her voting record being more left-wing than Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), these are all points that will be highlighted as the election season gets closer. The base is energized, but what matters is how long that hype actually lasts. We know Trump's base is going to vote for him, no matter what, in November.

The key is to convince voters in the suburbs and Rust Belt states to vote for their candidate and list the reasons why. If those voters are open-minded, the case for voting for Trump is much stronger than voting for Harris.

Eric Holder Tapped to Head up VP Selection Committee for Kamala Harris for President

As the entire country works to wrap its head around the concept of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democrat presidential candidate, the hand of Barack Obama is showing up behind the scenes. Obama's "wingman," former Attorney General, and friend Eric Holder and his law firm Covington Burling, LLP has been contracted to vet potential Vice Presidential candidates for Kamala Harris.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Former attorney general Eric Holder is in charge of vetting of running mates for Vice President Kamala Harris, Reuters reported.
The news that Holder and his law firm would be overseeing the operation was confirmed to POLITICO by a person with knowledge of the process.
Mr. "Fast and Furious" and the contempt-of-Congress former AG is a sketchy person, his cartel ties notwithstanding. As he was about to make his exit in 2015 back to private sector legal activism at the connected-D.C. law firm, this was the legacy that he left behind at the DOJ.

As a longtime, current employee of the Justice Department told us, Mr. Holder and his subordinates have “racialized and radicalized” the department “to the point of corruption.” They have “embedded politically leftist extremists in the career ranks who have an agenda that does not comport with equal protection or the rule of law; who believe that the ends justify the means; and who behave unprofessionally and unethically. Their policy is to intimidate and threaten employees who do not agree with their politics, and even moderate Democrats have left the department, because they were treated as enemies by administration officials and their lackeys. Another black employee who has worked for the Justice Department for decades said to me, ‘There is no justice left in Justice under this administration.’”

Those corrupt, racialized, and radicalized embeds never went away, of course. They rested comfortably under new Obama AG Loretta Lynch, then no doubt wreaked havoc during the Trump administration—which is why Jeff Sessions and William Barr could not do much of anything that was actually productive. Then, Merrick Garland simply picked up where Holder left off. Holder was successful in seeding the ground, and we have been reaping the harvest since 2016. That's the Deep State in a nutshell.

His involvement in the vetting process may reassure Democrats that a longtime political and legal hand is helping to ensure Harris' pick, should she win the nomination, is free of major conflicts. Any choice needs also to be suited to help her beat Republican Donald Trump and potentially to assume the presidency some day if she were to triumph in November but then at some point be unable to complete her duties.
Potential names that have been floated as possible running mates for Harris include Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

It appears that Holder will also ensure that Harris' VP will back her plays and be a competent attack dog, while not outshining her.

Think 2016 with Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.

This means California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro will probably not make the shortlist. Holder's VP pick will no doubt help cement the work of fundamental transformation of America.

She will win, she's in for the next 8 years. Plan accordingly. The Dems I know are just loving it. The fraud will be 100% believable by the masses. Like my parents who have never voted for a Dem except Carter, they will accept it.

Yep. Fueled by millions of illegals who will vote. Trying to find a link to an interview I heard of some guy in GA talking to illegals being housed in an apt complex and they said they were registered to vote even though they were here illegally. She'll get more votes than Joe. Never thought I'd seriously investigate this
