Cruz reiterated that he believes Trump will win in November, but it will not be a lopsided result, as some are predicting:Republicans, I worry, vastly underestimate Kamala Harris. They don’t think very highly of her. They don’t think she’s terribly bright. When you or I bring up Kamala Harris’ name in Republican circles, people laugh. It’s immediately a punchline. I think people are underestimating what billions of dollars of free media of the entire corrupt corporate media complex, pitching her as a combination of Mother Teresa, Oprah and Gandhi.
Republican voters can't get complacent. The polls show that Trump will win in November, whether he faces Harris or any of the other Democrat options being floated around, but polls don't vote; people do. Harris and the down-ballot candidates will be defeated by registering more voters to vote for Trump-Vance and reminding everybody you know to vote in droves while highlighting the Biden-Harris administration's failed policies. Now, I still think Trump wins in November. But this is not a layup. It is not given. And what’s coming in front of us look, if you’re a Democrat, what makes you nervous is chaos, and this much chaos 100 days out is scary. But you know what? Even more scary is going into an election where you’re almost certain to lose, which is where Biden was.
From her failures as a "border czar" to her voting record being more left-wing than Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), these are all points that will be highlighted as the election season gets closer. The base is energized, but what matters is how long that hype actually lasts. We know Trump's base is going to vote for him, no matter what, in November.I was very worried at the convention. … I am afraid people were overconfident at the convention. There was an air of celebration. It was, 'We've won. We're on to victory. This is a landslide. Trump's coming back in. We've got a huge Republican majority.'
Look, there’s a time for celebration. Celebrate after Election Day, celebrate after we’ve won. Now is not the time for celebration. Now’s the time for hard work. Now’s the time for rolling up your sleeves and going to win.
Mr. "Fast and Furious" and the contempt-of-Congress former AG is a sketchy person, his cartel ties notwithstanding. As he was about to make his exit in 2015 back to private sector legal activism at the connected-D.C. law firm, this was the legacy that he left behind at the DOJ.Former attorney general Eric Holder is in charge of vetting of running mates for Vice President Kamala Harris, Reuters reported.
The news that Holder and his law firm would be overseeing the operation was confirmed to POLITICO by a person with knowledge of the process.
As a longtime, current employee of the Justice Department told us, Mr. Holder and his subordinates have “racialized and radicalized” the department “to the point of corruption.” They have “embedded politically leftist extremists in the career ranks who have an agenda that does not comport with equal protection or the rule of law; who believe that the ends justify the means; and who behave unprofessionally and unethically. Their policy is to intimidate and threaten employees who do not agree with their politics, and even moderate Democrats have left the department, because they were treated as enemies by administration officials and their lackeys. Another black employee who has worked for the Justice Department for decades said to me, ‘There is no justice left in Justice under this administration.’”
His involvement in the vetting process may reassure Democrats that a longtime political and legal hand is helping to ensure Harris' pick, should she win the nomination, is free of major conflicts. Any choice needs also to be suited to help her beat Republican Donald Trump and potentially to assume the presidency some day if she were to triumph in November but then at some point be unable to complete her duties.
Potential names that have been floated as possible running mates for Harris include Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.
Quoted to rub in your face later when you have to change your vote to Harris. If Kamala's pick for VP anyone other than a hispanic transgender woman with severe PTSD from climate change, my vote is going to trump.
You guys say these things because you read the post by the Clintons saying so?
She’s never had a job she was good at. From her days in San Francisco. She did date very well and got a lot of political clout from it.

Yep. Fueled by millions of illegals who will vote. Trying to find a link to an interview I heard of some guy in GA talking to illegals being housed in an apt complex and they said they were registered to vote even though they were here illegally. She'll get more votes than Joe. Never thought I'd seriously investigate thisShe will win, she's in for the next 8 years. Plan accordingly. The Dems I know are just loving it. The fraud will be 100% believable by the masses. Like my parents who have never voted for a Dem except Carter, they will accept it.
