Old welding tanks.....

I got all my propane tanks free from various people moving or cleaning out old properties. I'd get old ones swapped out at walmart and then refill them at my local hardware store until they expire....then get them swapped again.

Never mind the date, got some 100s that the last time they were stamped was in the '50s. It isn't a hydrotest on propane tanks, just a visual inspection good for 5yr, the 7yr one with the star next to it is a hydrotest.

I have no idea how old my 100# propane cyl is and never had an issue (in my piss-ant community) and every station up here has all the connectors. No one has ever asked nor even looked for a date.

I’ve filled lots of shady ass propane tanks for people. No fucks given for dates. I wish I could find a cheap cylinder here to trade in for some argon.
