What's new

Oil on garage floor.

When I worked for Wurth they had just come out with a new product that was actually coconut husk. It blows around but sucks up oil like a tampon. You can get this from reptile/pet supply places much cheaper I imagine or gardening centers. "Oil Dri" still seems to be the standard but you need to leave it, sweep it around and walk on it and it gets granular crap everywhere.

Here is a link to some find ground coconut husk. I am not pulling your leg with this... it probably burns pretty easy too instead of dumping oil dri in the garbage: Coconut Coir: What It Is And Which To Get - Epic Gardening

Youpron link:
Powdered Tide and ***some water after 95% of the oil is picked up will make the floor newish looking again

Absorbs do that too.

Something to consider is what's on the floor too.

A coat of floor paint makes oil cleanup much easier than raw concrete.

Personally, I prefer a floor hardener to paint. With the hardener, you get some staining but it doesn't soak in. Paint wears and chips/flakes off over time depending on your use of the space.
