What's new

Official wheelin’ trip pics thread

Our little group went to BMRA for Mega Run 23. The silver YJ and XJ were both new builds. The YJ had ECU problems, he had a bench tune on the LS computer and it wasn't reading the throttle 1/2 the time. The XJ was having typical XJ problems, over heating, fuel starvation issues. Out of all that I was the only one in our group to actually break something though, broke a rear chromolly 4340 alloy usa 44 shaft. Our buddy in the YJ rolled hard on scorpions overlook he rolled backwords and 1 barrel roll, but surprisingly the jeep had only a crinkled hood, 1 hour after the rollover he was on twister!

Did a bit of daisy sniffin' down in Las Cruces with my father and got to check out and cut shit off his new Bronco. I think his LJ may be up for sale soon.

The Bronco didn't do bad other than being a lowrider and dragging over everything. Now my wife thinks I need one :homer:

For sure. He got lucky as it broke in the afternoon on friday and wide open designs is an hour north of the park, so they were able to run up there and get the shock rebuilt and was back on the trail the next day.

We're spoiled here.
Planning first attempt at the new one in the Puerco 4/22...
