Anyone shooting an Obsession? I want to upgrade from my almost 15yo Bowtech this year and have a gift certificate to a local shop that has a couple ‘23 Obsession XR6’s marked down from $1000 to $700 to clear room for the new ‘24’s. They look like a good bow, and like usual the reviews I’m finding are mixed.

Obsession's have typically been Matthew's bows that are a couple year old design. So, good equipment. I think they've designed a couple just for the Obsession line in the last couple years to hit a price point. Wouldn't be afraid of them at all.

A buddy of mine shoots one and likes it. People speak highly of them on AT.
I shot the obsession and really liked it. Fast and quiet. It was $700 for the bare bow, I added a drop away rest, 4 pin sight, peep sight and kisser. I’m using my old stabilizer.
They had a used Bear cruzer G2 that was in like new condition. They are adjustable from 10-70 pounds with a 30” axle to axle length. We had my daughter shoot a few through that and she liked it at 30lbs so I ended up taking that home too. That was $350 ready to hunt.
All in on both bows was just over $1300. I didn’t think that was bad at all.
