NYE loser club

In
Watching college ball and resting my knee, feels better than yesterday but not great. Kid is going to spend the night at a friend's house. Wife is gonna run some errands in town. We'll see how late we make it, I was out by 9 last night.
 
I'll call us in.

We no longer do the armature hour NYE party's, seems like all the younger dudes want to do is get wasted and fight anymore.

We're gonna bust out and do the Costco run here in a bit and come home to maybe nap while GF does her cookin or not, We might just order up the Chinese we didn't order last night.

GF is going in for a big money shift tomorrow and the next day so I figure I'll be in bed early and I care not one bit.
 
Working on das haus until I have to jet to give my wife her ride to get to work. Doubt the boys and I will attempt to watch the ball drop.

This thread just reminded me that I had a dream a couple nights ago of my boys and I walking to somewhere and happen to be strolling past a small version of a ball drop in a park. I explain what it is and their reaction was "that's it??". Lol. Pretty much how I've always felt about it, so just my brain making up their reaction.

Might sip some kahlua tonight and figure out some more Subaru stuff.
 
We never go out for NYE, too many amateur drinkers out getting stupid.

We are taking our oldest and her boyfriend to the airport later this afternoon. The youngest is heading back to Chico later too. Just going to have a nice quiet evening on the ranch.

Tomorrow I get to fly to San Diego to escort my dad home.
 
In. No plans really. I have the kids tonight so my gf is coming over. Will probably watch a movie when the kids go to bed and who knows if we will be awake at midnight. I need to take my tire machine to my mom and stepdads. He can fix anything and I dont have the time so he is going to fix it for me and I will pay him. They are giving me their Pit Boss pellet smoker that has only been used twice.
 
well i haven't had a day off since thanks giving. been working 10s for a couple months. and i have been feeling a bit sick for the past week. so i will just grab a bight to eat, watch a mover and pop a few benadryl and if everything goes good i will be asleep before 9.
 
Supposed to have a 4 day weekend but here I sit a couple hours away from home, fully losering.

I think the only times I have ever stayed up late enough was when I was working, pulled duty one night at an invitation only party at a bar in the 5 points area of Alb. in the 70s, all older couples. The old guys kept shaking my hand and trying to buy me drinks and the old ladies kept wanting to hug me. Pigged out on posole and other food, I was even given food to take with me. They were all headed home by 1am and I went on to my next job, sure enough the old asshole I was relieving got right up in my face to smell my breath!
Dick head had it in for me for some reason always looking to find something to report me for. Finally got me fired when he said it was strange everyone else working on a contruction job at my old highshool, cars got broken into when they went into the building to check the heaters, but mine! (Olympic size swimming and diving pool that was never used for meets because someone screwed up the conversion from metric to feet and the pool was 1 inch to short!)
I had gone down to the local bar bought some beer played some pool and let it be known I would hunt down anyone who screwed with my car, while I was working there. sometimes it good to have a reputation! :flipoff2:
