This thing's bearing(s?) is shot and would scream while running. Ear protection was mandatory. Drilled a hole and added a couple drops of 15W40. Runs much, much quieter and at a higher RPM too.


I know you can take them apart and replace the bearing but it's 20+ years old and I have better things to do :flipoff2:

Stihl SE 122, It is my second Stihl vacuum and the best there is. My Original is 30 years old and still going. Used as a contractor and still works well and quiet
