EDIT - The website may be security compromised, look at post #8

EDIT #2 - Same deals are available on Summit, that seems like the safe play.

This seems to be legit, not sure if they're purging old product lines or what but there are some pretty good deals to be had in the clearance section of the Nitro website right now. Most of the ring and pinions are still full price, but there are some oddballs listed for $70-$120. But a lot of other smaller stuff is crazy cheap. 16 pages in total, the first 6 or 7 have good misc stuff. The rest are ring and pinions, but a lot are regular price for some reason with some decent deals mixed in.

Seals, yokes, solid pinion spacer kits, diff covers, lockers, ujoints, etc.

https://nitro-gear.com/clearance.html

Examples (double check the descriptions in case I made a mistake though):

1480 ujoint (not sure if just one), $110
https://nitro-gear.com/nitro-excalibur-u-joint-for-dana-60-np806x-exc.html

35 spline D60 locking hubs, $115

Toyota knuckle rebuild kit, $20
https://nitro-gear.com/nitro-gear-axle-knuckle-kit-both-sides-for-toyota-1975-1990.html

D60 mechanical locker (their version of a detroit maybe?) $381

Any idea how the Nitro hubs for a 60 compare to the Yukon Hardcore Hubs? The design looks very similar....I'd guess the MSRP price difference is due to the Yukons using chromoly parts....but maybe Nitro does too??

Honestly I don't know their reputation as well as some others, but it definitely resembles the Yukon hubs (and in turn, old Spicers) in many regards. Hard to go wrong with them at this price though. I'm tempted to get a set for spare parts for my spicers haha.

Thanks for posting....just saved like $400 on parts. Really appreciate it.
Glad to hear it helped ya out, was hoping it would help somebody! I got some solid pinion spacer kits and inner axle seals but haven't splurged on anything bigger yet haha

JFYI.....I use ESET for security and I'm getting this threat message when I try to access the Nitro site:

Threat found
This web page may contain dangerous content that can provide remote access to an infected device, leak sensitive data from the device or harm the targeted device.

JS/Spy.Banker.LQ trojan

I ordered from my work computer.....

I was going back to see about ordering another D60 to Toyota pinion flange/yoke.....

Well shit, now that is very interesting. I wonder if it is compromised...I'm going to put a warning in the first post just in case

I think the site/web address is legit....it may just be that they have a Trojan they don't know about. I got a confirmation of order email that looks legit....so I think it's all on the up and up....I just likely need to keep an eye on my CC since if there is a Trojan, it may now be compromised.

My computer at home is blocking everything so I can't send an email to let them know (assuming they don't anyway).....I thought about calling and leaving a message (assuming they have a messaging system) to at least make them aware but they'd already closed for the day. Maybe I should still do that.

EDIT Nope....no messaging system. Automated message just tells you to call back during business hours.

yeah I'm getting trojan alerts from Kaspersky scanner as well for the site and when ever I click on a part it shuts the website down.

Are you guys actually getting it from the website or from the embedded ads?

Don't know. ESET isn't giving me any more information beyond what I posted and keeping me from accessing the site.

ordered a lunch box locker off the clearance and zero issues. did do it off the web site and looks just like last time i ordered direct from Nitro. For anyone in Canada like my self be ready for a killer duty bill about a month after your parts show up :shaking:

have a set of the cheap d60 locking hubs and so far have been great, look and feel just like the Yukon ones and are just a shitty to turn in and out :homer:

I take it you've had or used the Yukon hubs then (if they're just as shitty to turn in/out).....

Question with the Nitro hubs and being hard to engage/disengage.....do you have a spool in that axle by chance or is it difficult even with an open diff or a locker? Someone in another thread was saying the Yukons are a bear to turn with a full spool....but wasnt' sure about with an auto locker (which is what I'm pairing the Nitro hubs with).

TIA!

i myself have not run the yukons but have two buddys that i wheel with that run them. both complain about what a bitch they are to turn. if you over tighten the cap screws is make is so you cant turn it at all. have to lock tight them and find the sweet spot. im running welded front but one buddy is running a detroit and its just as bad. even on the jack stands in the shop i use a pair of pliers to turn them in and out

What I've seen some people do for stubborn hubs, is make a knob for them. Could probably be done on a 3d printer as well. My old spicers can be stubborn at times too, so I'm tempted to print something like this:

Yukon Axle Selector Knob

I ordered seven Dana 60 knuckles when they were $113 each on 7/10 from justdifferentials.com (sister company to Nitro Gear). I've received one so far. The rest are on "transfer" and won't be shipped for 4-8 weeks. I ordered them over the phone and verified they were in stock when I placed the order.

I'll update this when I get the parts.

Wow...that sux. Guess I'll be carrying an adjustable or something....too bad the dial selector on the Nitros has a curve to it....the Yukons would be easier to make a knob for. EDIT Actually....I think a simple 'spanner wrench' with 2 appropriately sized steel dowels to fit at opposing ends of the dial and a shortish lever arm (6-8" would probably be fine) would probably work pretty well.

It would be nice to have a small lever instead of a knob. Bit more leverage then the above.
A guy in another thread drilled/tapped his dial for an Allen head bolt....and uses the appropriately sized Allen wrench to leverage it to turn. I'd probably shear the bolt off in the hub on a rock or mangle the opening enough you couldn't get the wrench in it, lol.

Damn....and I have $240 in Summit bucks I could have used. Oh well.

That's a solid list. I just went to Summit and did similar. I just got a nodular ford 9" 3.25" bearing 3rd for $159, that same aluminum daytona pinion support for $23, and a forged 1350 9" pinion yoke for $48. So for $230 I got everything needed besides ring and pinion, and locker (which I already have sitting around)
