What's new

new yuck state residence impeach cuomo

I’ll play, I am your neighbor (state) and fuck him

In for the fun, but nothing will come of it..

What needs to happen is a structure of Resistance needs to get built in California, NYC, and other liberal bastions.

Conservatives need to fund that, and behave exactly like Liberals do in Conservative States.

Until then, the money will keep going to them, and 2015-2021 will Rinse and Repeat forever.

Conservative leaders, i.e. Republicans, should be the ones organizing and funding this. Getting the Koch and Van Andels of the world to fund it.

Conservatives don't demand better from their Pols so they don't get it, and you get nothing but meme-satisfaction from frogs and petitions. It's sad.

More than that, NY is still run by Tammany Hall style politics . Albany is the Capitol but the show is run in the NYC area. It's not just liberals, the GOP is also in this mess. There's just too much money and power as it is for change to happen..

I support the immediate resignation of Cuomo as Governor. He lied in a way that should cost him his office.

The rest is ridiculous. Red states take more federal dollars than they provide, and they always complain about taxes and social programs, yet, they suck the tit the hardest. Heal thyself states that are poor, get that second job, pull thyself up by thy bootstraps... all that shit... but either quit complaining about it or quit taking the money. Anything else is just whiny noise.

my CA state rep is leading the charge against newsome and filed lawsuits against the state over the emergency power act. my federal rep in CA is regularly ranked the most fiscally conservative members of congress and a staunch "no" vote on just about everything. hell, he pretty well apologized for voting for the very first covid emergency stimulus bill.

there are so many fires in CA that starting anywhere on any of them is a good thing. hopefully covid shutdowns and tech wind-downs will weaken the bay area politically a bit

wouldn't it be awesome if the blue states finally up and voted to end all those red state welfare programs? just think of what CA could accomplish if they weren't wasting so much money via federal programs to red states. it would be glorious.

support small federal government.

Red states take more federal dollars than they provide,.

You realize this statement is incorrect. There's no state that gets more back then they send. Some get more back proportional than other sates. This is mostly because Dems got their way.

Well, I took Econ 101 so this makes sense. You sell a bushel of wheat off a farm for $1, it sells in NYC for $100.

The Farmer got $1, leaving 99.

Shipper (based in NYC) took $30.

Broker (based in NYC) took $10.

Insurer (based in NYC) took $10.

Bread baker (based in NYC) took $20 to turn it into bread.

Retailer (based in NYC) took $10 to put it on a shelf.

Government (based in NYC and taxing all those NYC businesses) takes $19 overall.

So yeah, NYC has more economic activity in its ledger, and Iowa has less economic activity in their ledger.

You should look up double-entry accounting or get some economic knowledge or something

Yes, I see that the political market is functioning, except there's not a structure of people who have feedback to private businesses, who are dependent on a STRUCTURE.

Leftists rotate in and out of structures which are dependent on Lefty money to grief conservatives. So the ACLU is now a thing, and if they run out of cases are they just going to end the lease on the office and layoff their workers, however ill-paid compared to the industry? No. The people at the ACLU are going to feedback into the University and Corporate system by promising to grief them too if they don't contribute, and keep the ACLUs in work.

That doesn't exist for Conservatives and it needs to. You are describing a Pol who is doing their job, but next month they have a new job. T?hey are not going to punish Universities and Corporations for not funding his fight to get rid of bad Democrat governors.

The Left WILL do exactly that.

We need to TAX the power institutions to fund a system of Agitation in liberal bastions. I'll repeat it in a slightly different way so that the concept can somehow get in.

You get what you voted for so FUCK OFF , CA. NY. IL. and the rest of the shitholes that voted for this shit.:flipoff2:

this is what makes you dangerous. you just say shit and pretend it is true. you are incorrect and a dumbass.

Your original "blue states pay the way!" nonsense is incorrect. So you are the incorrect foundation of incorrect.

see, that post is great, it is short, wrong, but it is short and it has a graphic above it that shows that you are just, well, you.

Where is the liberal outrage and cancel Karen’s demanding his resignation?

Found a good chart on it, didn't look to see how up to date it is. Colorado pays more than it gets too.

it's almost like the states that dispraportionally have millionaires/billionaires and host multi-national mega corporations pay the most money in federal taxed

that's weird, i thought the ultra-rich didn't pay their fair share?

edit: for CA to be near dead even with as much money is as in that state is pretty amazing. there is a massive amount of federal money getting spent there

All of these charts apparently include wages paid to federal employees and expenses related to federal facilities. I think it would be more illustrative to subtract off these expenses and consider only expenditures funneled through state government.

That's more complicated than it looks like.

An inordinate amount of state programs are partly funded by the feds. Towns and states get money for specfici "things" (like the feds will go 50-50 with you for improving a highway if the highway is shitty enough to meet their criteria). The state then turns around spends the money saved to hire deadbeat fuckwits who's only qualification is they "knew a guy" who got them hired and are capable of filling out a time card. So are the deadbeat fuckwits paid in federal dollars or state dollars? If the states had to pay their own way on more things there wouldn't be as much room for deadbeat fuckwits in the org chart.

Interesting. The number one recipient in this graph has a (D) as Governor, and a (D) controlled legislature. Its almost like those making the statement are completely blind to the facts in front of their faces. Same for the number three.

In fact, if you take the top four on the list and add them up, blue states get $18,993 more funds per capita, and red states get $16,428 more funds per capita.

Obviously, the graph is drawn per capita to hide the sheer number of gross $$$ spent on the overpopulated blue states as well, considering the first tow on the list for each one were VA/NM and KY/WV. I'd love to see the gross spending chart.

Yes, this is exactly my point! Federal dollars funneled into state programs represents tit sucking. But there is also a lot of federal mothers milk getting funneled directly to the tit suckers without passing through states. I believe subsidies to specific industries (farms, etc) fall into this category.

My problem is that these charts try to lump legitimate federal spending in with the tit sucking. In my previous post, I suggested removing expenses paid directly to federal employees from these charts. Note that this is not to be confused with salaries paid to non-federal employees that are paid using federal dollars. If you look at the federal budget overall, defense is the only significant expense that does not fall into the tit sucking category (although there is room to trim waste from the defense budget). So, remove defense expenditures from these charts and then we have a much clearer picture of which states are on the dole.

Ca. has been near even only in the last few years. Before that it paid much more to the feds than it received for a long time.

and population skews some of the more static things. a state with low population and federal interstate projects and federal infrastructure projects is going to have a similar dollar per mile/project allocation as a high population state.
