New bronco with the 7 speed please in any flavor.
Dealer in town has a raptor bronco marked down 20k off msrp.

Interesting idea ... I viewed it as more of a commitment to purchase.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but some of us are ( I definitely are) cheap bastards and the skulls donate money regardless of anything in return.

I also just bought some lights, but don’t want to spend money when home renovations are starting in 10 days. :smokin:

Oh, I have one.
I have one. Perfect for 4" radius dies. :homer:

Group buys are also a way to get new product. A lot of companies don't have time to r&d but are willing to work with you. I wouldn't be able to keep my car if it wasn't for group buys.

Example, I belong to another forum thats based on 3000gts and stealths. We needed rear axles that could handle the power we're putting out. No one had anything. Got ahold of Mark Williams and worked a deal out. 25 guys to commit to buy in at $xxxx amount and we got our 300m axles. Cheaper than I expected to be as well because of all the guys in. We've done this with all sorts of parts now for these cars, right up to discontinued window seals from a Japan company.

Just throwing this out. Doesn't have to be an existing product. Like group buy for np205 3:1 gears could possibly be had for cheaper than JB sells them for.

This X1000. That's the way it worked on Camaroz28.com often. We got our hands on stuff with small production runs.

Did Doug ever get his axles or a refund yet-

Do we need a certain number of sign ups for this to go?

I wouldn’t say that, Red Skulls get you:
  • No Google Ads
  • Unlimited Storage
  • TP Access
  • Create private / invite only group forums
  • Access to Discord Server
  • Longer signature with extra lines & links
  • 10% off Swag
  • Parts Counter Benefits: Deeper Discounts, Direct from mfg drop shipping on out of stock and backordered parts.
From what I gathered, most get the Red Skull's to avoid ads and get into the TP. Now I fully admit that Swag and Parts counter have been ..... lame, which I'm working on. Really. The parts counter is still in dev and swag.... well, my swag printer went and moved to Spain... so the wife and I are talking about buying a press and doing it ourselves. It's about the only way I can manage the swag quality & deliverability.

Do we need a certain number of sign ups for this to go?
Yes, I was going to cover a possible gap but we've got more than we need.

It's also why I try and push and create content in the TP, even it fits better in shit chat. Trying to create something to make paying the money more worthwhile.

No idea on the business end of this, but they seem to be filling a niche:

buying a press and doing it ourselves.
Screen printing t shirts, hoodies, etc is pretty damn simple, just a lot of time and it's tedious. Got a buddy that does it professionally now but he started out of our old apartment with a single press then a 6 arm one. I built him a wash sink for the ink and screens. It wasn't much learning curve before we were churning out thousands of shirts, hoodies, flyers, etc for bands. Only took him a couple years before he was able to quit his day job get a real shop and business going and he's been open probably close to 15 years now.

Biggest hurdle was space to get stuff drying or packed. Our entire apartment would be completely covered in whatever we were printing. If you stick to a handful of designs, single sided prints, and 1-2 colors though you can knock out a lot of merch in just a couple days. We could knock out 1000+ t shirts in a weekend from making the screen to getting them folded and packed.
