Need info on unique tool

I found these unique pliers last weekend. I've tried to google a description, image search, etc. and came up with nothing.
I don't see any markings/name on them.
I'm just trying to find out some info on them, since evidently google knows nothing about them.

Ok. That is the new version of this tool. I just thought I'd be able to find a pic of the "old/original" version like I have and some info...to possibly date how old these are, who made them, etc.
