If it "defies the laws of physics", it's bullshit. You have to have the math worked out for something like this to be feasible. To replicate and to scale the experiment requires an understanding of the math. In most all breakthrough inventions, the math and physics come first. Then the proof. Never once has a concept defied the laws of physics.
