My old 89 Honda 650NT has a single side swing arm...Only about 60 hp well tuned but only 395 pounds, great handler and a popular track bike..

Think I will head out to St. George this Saturday. Nothing like sitting on the bike and seeing if it fits me.

Would rather Pyleit spends time with his family, man works his ass off.
As long as you're there, there's an interesting gun store. Modern Warrior or somesuch. And a worthwhile dinosaur museum down the street.

Jumping in here cause I know nothing about Harleys. My BIL has this, ran great up till about 6 years ago when he stopped riding it. He got it in the 90s and rode it a few times a summer tops. 16k miles and really clean. He says its worth 5k tops, maybe I'm just used to looking at trucks but feel an all original vintage bike should get more coin?

If you paid $1200. You stole it.

A clapped out POS dirtbike that runs is worth $2k+
Where do you get $2,000 for a shitty dirtbike? I've been trying to sell this restored Honda FT500 for 2 years now and the best offer I've gotten is $1,900.

I had to do a double take myself, this was a while ago:laughing:

In the end I decided on a 2003 KLR650, I really like this bike, and ergonomics work out good for me.
Not the flashiest ride, I was after a carb'd bike and simple. Also Gen1 is the lightest KLR at 400lbs or thereabout.

List it on BAT.

I spy the AMF (bowling ball) logo. Surprised it ran that long. I knew a few that bought Sportsters in the 70's & had problems with the magneto(?). It would sit parked & still paying out on the loans.

I did look at the dirt bikes but were priced higher than the jap motocrossers-

He is right. Anywhere between $3K and $5K. Depending on condition.
1999 was the last year for the Evo engine. I sold a 91 Soft Tail W/98 Evo for $5K. That one should bring $4500-5000.
