More craziness in CA. Repeal affirmative action?

https://www.kcra.com/article/african...gyzdypBKIk-NEw

speaking of crazy CA stuff  :(

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A proposal to establish a task force to study and prepare recommendations for how to give reparations to African Americans passed the California Assembly on Thursday.

The bill advanced with a 56-5 vote as protests nationwide over police brutality re-energized the movement for racial justice and activists pressed for sweeping reforms. It is a top priority for California's Legislative Black Caucus.

Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, a Democrat from San Diego who wrote the bill, said the study would reiterate California's history of abetting slavery, even as it joined the union as a “free state” in 1850

And with that, California has now gone FULL retard.

Reparations..... :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Did somebody else register for this name on the new site?

If you'd bother to read what I've written on PBB and here instead of believing what certain mouth breathers claim I said you'd realize that post is hardly a new one for me.

Under the heading “more craziness from California” comes this little tidbit: The words “riot” and “looting” are now racist.

Los Angeles Times executive editor Norman Pearlstine claimed that using the word "looting" in relation to the unrest that has taken place during the George Floyd protests has a "racist connotation."

...
On Tuesday's PBS NewsHour, there was a panel discussion about black representation in the newsroom and how recent controversies like at The New York Times would not have happened if black journalists were "at the table."
...

National Association of Black Journalists president Dorothy Tucker called the conversation "interesting," adding that the word "riot" falls in a "similar" category as the word "looting.

The University of California has voted to restore affirmative action in hopes of diversifying its student body.

symbolic step

"It makes little sense to exclude any consideration of race in admissions when the aim of the University's holistic process is to fully understand and evaluate each applicant through multiple dimensions," UC President Janet Napolitano said in a statement.

"Proposition 209 has forced California public institutions to try to address racial inequality without factoring in race, even where allowed by federal law. The diversity of our university and higher education institutions across California, should — and must — represent the rich diversity of our state."

reality though.

Reparations for stuff that happened 200 years ago before anyone talking about this stuff was even thought of. Gotcha. We are already broke from supporting the millions of illegal border jumpers here. Where does Newsom plan to find all this extra money to give to black people just because they are black?

Proposition 187 was hamstrung and overturned by very dark and insidious machinations back in 1994, and I do not say those words lightly. They hashed it out until Gray Davis ended appeals on the subject, because he wanted the Voter's will overturned but was required by Law to defend the measure.

1994. Proposition 187. California voted to end services for Illegals and they did it anyway.

Politics will not work. We have to shut down the State Houses and Washington because that is the second to last step in a process where the People can't get the Government to do their bidding.

The last step is literally Revolution. That's what you do when the Government absolutely refuses to do your bidding.
