More Big Stickies

I just want interco to stop throwing random numbers into the mold and hoping for the best. I mean I get it, I measure my dick from behind my balls too, but calling a 38 a 42 is a bit of a stretch.

No shit, it's like figure it out by now. If it shrinks or whatever, you should know by now.

BFG isn't much better, even with their small tires.

First off, yes.

Remember the days were the biggest sx was a 38.5? People asked for years for a bigger sx, nothing, but still producing thornbirds and some other useless tires noome buys. After forever, they come out with the 43 sx and it's probably the only re3they aren't bankrupt.

Maybe for mixed terrain? Same thing rock bouncers use the crazy aggressive cut 43 sx stickies for.

I do think that tall of a lug will just fold over, but who knows.

They're idiots. They nailed it with the 43 after years of people clamoring. There's probably even more folks clamoring for a 40" sticky version of the SX that isn't stupid wide. 40x13.5 or something along those lines. They wouldn't be able to keep it in stock. Also, take a look at the SXII sometime. That's an even better tread design than the SX IMO. I would take the whole SX line to the SXII.

I was super intrigued by the sx2 when it came out, but heard absolutely nothing good about them from people who bought them  stiff af and hard tread. Sticky compound might make them good like the 43. The non sticky 43 is pretty terrible.

I don't understand why they're so weird about making sticky versions of their current tires either. Seems like a no Brainerd to me.

The bigger LTB should have been an awesome tire and they sucked balls.

Ya, its like the resurrected the old thornbird rubber compound.

That tire could have been the bouncer tire that the 43 sx is imo. It's taller, but not overly wide/huge. They're just so godamn hard. And don't flex on anything less than 7k lbs.

I know people who bought the 40s and sold them after one trip because they just were terrible

Yea same and I haven't met anyone that really likes them either. I wheeled with a guy that had them and my pro comp MT2s embarrassed him in evrey terrain but a sloppy, clay filled rutted out hill climb. He crawled it while I had to floor it. Evreything else they sucked. He was in denial:laughing:

Interco can't even figure out how to actually make a tire round, why are you surprised they can't figure out sizes!

Sticky 47" LTB. Interco is saying it uses the 43 SX compound.

I think that is TBD how good the compound is. They commented that it should be closer to the USA made 43 than the 50 mega. Still going to be a different overseas tire plant, how well they work would remain to be seen. Can't be worse than the existing LTB rubber.

Seems like the kids are at the helm of the ship and they seem to be into stupid bro dozens and SXS and miss the rest of their entire base

Those sticky ltb's might actually be perfect for the stupid project I have.

Is the info only on face book? Curious if they're doing sticky 16.5s

Goforth should be able to get you info they were tagged in the post and mentioned that they were in stock

Because that's where the money is. I bet even the 43 sx isn't that big of a part of their sales.

The 50s are actually surprisingly cheap, less than 42 treps or reds by a lot.

i buy all me new offroad tires from 4wp because of the tire warranty, rip a sidewall and get a new tire(went through 6 boggers using the warranty) for $40(probably more now) although likely not gonna do that to an sx :grinpimp:

Anything will pop if the situation is bad enough. I know someone who put a T post through a 54 in the snow....

Tire warranty is absolutely worth it on big expensive tires.

i drove through a burned fire area with my sx stickys and had a stick in my sidewall so good that the 16" long stick was sticking straight out not falling down i thought for sure i had just fucked my tire, i pulled the stick out and sure enough it was fine :grinpimp:

i would have popped all 4 boggers driving in that area

Thats brutal on tires. I know guys hate logging them with wheeled skidders because even they can pop tires on the pungee sticks.

Bump old thread because it's almost Tuesday. Any one hear anything new on these 47 LTBs? I'm close to needing tires for the new buggy and these would be perfect.
