I read all that and still say .......ok? and? Maybe I am missing something. I dont get the tiki torch connection to white supremacy. Seems really obscure way to protest.

From the article: "Tiki torches were used by many white supremacists who marched at the University of Virginia on August 11, 2017, the day before the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville." Not sure the connection then, if there even was one, but it was supposedly used this time as a "reminder of what the Republicans support" referencing what happened in Charlottesville.

I've tried explaining to people that if they raise minimum wage, those working for wage will in fact lose buying power.

Out of all of them only one "got it" and it was like a light bulb coming on.
