For those that get all their facts, argument points, etc. from memes:
If a fella started working at 17 and has $600k in S.S. at 67, he put an average of $15k in per year. $15K of S.S. money would be a salary of $242K.

I think you forgot that SS is matched by employers, so that gets the number closer to reality. Although, it looks like the most a person could contribute, if they were at the max social security income level for every year of their working life, would be about $580k or so. Right now the SS income cap is $168,600.
