Watched my father in law rub rubber cement into the giant cracks on his 10 year old 22.5" tires on his motorhome. Drove it like that for months.

Seems like a waste of effort when 2-5yo 22.5s and 24.5s that don't have enough tread to pass a DOT inspection are available cheaper than economy car tires.

Why would tires that new be cracking?

Because we get more direct sunlight in the lower 48
