My boss had a ranch just south of that little airport. Sometime in the early 2000s, a guy decided to commit suicide and jumped out a small plane. His 8 year old daughter was outside playing and saw the guy falling. She told her dad, "He was just falling and didn't even have his backpack on or nothing."
