Yea, I remember about fifteen years ago the cops posed as thieves, went in to pawn shops to sell their stolen goods. The cops clearly told the shops that the stuff was stolen and wanted whatever the shop would give them. The shops bought the brand new stuff for a fraction of cost. The cops did this to a bunch of pawn shops before arresting all of them for receiving stolen property. You guessed it. They all got off because the stuff was not stolen. (It doesn't matter what the cops said) Not only that, the shops kept the merchandise because it was legally sold to them. Lol.
