Our granddaughter is volunteering at an animal exposition place and one of the animals is Titus. He's a Tegu lizard. he's close to 20lbs and very docile.

The lady that runs the place said it got infected somehow and the vet amputated it. Supposedly it'll grow back.

I used to breed black and white Tegus. Nice guy. His tail will grow back.

Not poisonous and docile as long as he's regularly handled. I've petted and held him with no aggression on his part.
