Lowest Ratio for Dana 50 Front and Dana 70 rear?

Ok so I've been finding 5.13 is lowest matching ratio I can do with BUT i see Nitro has a 5.38 Dana 50 gears but i cannot find a matching Dana 70 gear set. Thanks.

replace the d70 with a 14b and you will get your 5.38

I would but the D70 is already trusted and tabbed for 4 link as well as correct width for the truck. Unless someone has a dually bed width 14 bolt in cali they will sell me than I can swap to SRW hubs to get it wide and truss/tab that.

Going from 513 to 538 is only a 4% jump.

Unless you're trying to turn 40s with a 22RE or some other equally stupid situation I don't think the difference is going to be a big deal.

He's right, wouldn't even be a noticeable difference.

Yeah gonna run 5.13 and keep an eye out for a new rear axle in future to go with lower ratio if needed

That's the plan for the future. I already have this axle trussed/tabbed as well as spool and 4130 axles for it so not going to change it right now. Maybe in the future

i agree you wont see much of a real world difference between 5.13 and 5.38
