Lock boxes

coyotes do that after enough lead is inserted
Dump them out in the ocean for the fishes. Stinks less that way.

We had an old timer come by the shop once in a while and would ask if we knew if anyone wanting to go shrimp "fishing".

Not a bad idea! Puck locks generally suck tho. Comb picks are usually a quick way in. But Chrystal methanie hangs out out front....

they don't make good ones?
that sucks since like all the other styles I can think of have the exposed shackle pin that you can zipdisc right through

PacLock makes the only widely available puck lock that's not a giveaway to comb picking.
. . . based on my "extensive research" of watching the LockPickingLawyer a few years back.

Master puck locks are ~dogshit, as are the same-but-different copies (I have some anyway ).

No shit.... Local job site has a connex box with a large dozer holding the door shut. :smokin::smokin::smokin:
I use a skid steer to block the doors to a conex where we keep tools.

Works great until it gets too cold and the battery takes the day off. After I learned a Ram 5500 wont budge a parked skid steer, we took the day off too.

But the Ram 5500 wont jump start a skid steer?

Why not hide the lock box. I’ve seen videos where they go through Detroit and any visible lock box is an invitation to break in. The experienced flippers/contractors put the lock box in back or hide it.

Commercial building, not really anywhere to hide it per say.

Dig out a foot down by the walk in door into the foundation and hammer drill out a hole to mount it in.

You either have to hide it, do an electric lock and gibe each sub a different code, or recess it into a building somehow.

I’ve seen them in shrubs, dumpster enclosure, the building next door, up in the awnings over doors and on second story window ledges. Best place is somewhere accessible but not in line of sight, if really bad location put it out of reach and sight. If they want to get in they will get in it’s just making it so it’s not worth their time.

Alternatively hire the local homeless to look after the building, ten bucks at a fast food restaurant goes a long way with them.

Yeah I'll have to find a spot to hide it. Not any easy ones unfortunately.

Crystal Methanie already hangs out here a fair bit....

I'm sure the owners of the finished commercial building that he's working on would be thrilled about that.

Are you fuckers really that stoopid ?

You just fill the hole with cement before the owner takes possession.

This is a TI in an existing building. If I go cutting concrete out outside the door, someone is gonna be grumpy.

Temporary and secure just don't go well together.

And wouldn't cement just make a big dusty mess if you threw it in a hole?
apparently our resident sasquatch uses it to seal around well casing pipes

I dunno how straight cement doesn't shrink a LOT and cause a bunch of little tiny leakage paths but hey w/e

How about a knox box ?

Even recessed in a wall they are easy to get into if you think outside the box. You would have to rekey it as well, the original key is issued to Fire and PD.

Saw this Lock Picking Lawyer veejayo & thought of this thread - Kryptonite makes decent puck lock to consider
