Live: Secret Service director grilled on Trump assassination attempt

There's really no accountability in our government. The POTUS can have dementia, the Director of the Secret Service can let a pimple faced loser crack off numerous shots at a former POTUS from a rooftop 150 yards away, actual competency is completely irrelevant. In private industry these people would be out on their asses. Even the worst of useless corporate kiss asses eventually run out of runway and get tossed.

Yup :smokin:

Guns are clearly the problem. It can't be from evreyone calling trump literally Hitler, threat to America, threat to democracy, going to start WW3, end of modern life as we know it, racist, going to round up liberals and put them in camps etc .. can't be any of that, it's gun control is the issue:mad3:
That's definitely a big part of it. Eight years of the media and politicians making Trump the devil is exactly the stuff that makes impressionable, weak minded smoothies get fired up and go full retard. (And help from the Feds training them)

Just got on YouTube and a clip of Lisa McClain is disassembling this biatch.

If cheatle would have answered like she's not retarded and say "that information is involved in an ongoing investigation, I'm not at liberty to answer until the investigation is finished.". It'd make her look like she's not a dumb biatch covering shit up. :homer:

She isn't really answering any questions.

Must have her eye on future politics.
She doesnt care about the politics. She knows at this point shes a sacrificial lamb. Theres three outcomes, dems win and she stays, not likely because of the crappy optics, dems win and shes let go for incompetance or mismanagement or resigns, possibly, repubs win and shes definately gone for incompetence or "drain the swamp". None of the above would cost you a security clearance. Shes planning for her next gig in the private sector and a TS is money in the right circles.

She should have resigned. You said the buck stops with you. You failed. Stay on until someone better is found to replace you.

I think this would have been the smart play. "I fucked up and dropped the ball. Our resources were too thin having to provide the first lady coverage in the same area, but I thought we could manage".

She already has her pension, and she can easily get another big dollar gig in the private sector.

Dang.... She kept her cool... There is something hiding under the hood with that bitch.... With the fucking hard-ball questions; a normal person would have cracked. Even AOC tossed a few rocks... The other squad member went off on "AR's"... Go figure... :stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot:

Current Dem (Gerry Connolly of VA) is pushing Gun Control, trying to get the director to answer "Do more guns make it easier or harder to do your job", Surprisingly she isn't biting.
There were several attempts to push gun control onto this, and I remember one asking if, paraphrasing here, military grade assault rifles make secret service’s job harder. I had to respect this one answer, “all weapons make our job harder”.

When even the Dems are trying to railroad her you have to think she got played and is really starting to resent it.

With her not towing the dems "guns are bad m'kay" party line, she knows she got fucked when they scheduled dr jills Pittsburgh appearance, and she knows shes about to get scapegoated.

There never has been. I've been watching these Congressional hearings since I was a little kid the early 90s. It's always the same waste of time. Congress critters grandstand, witnesses say they dont know or can't remember anything, it drags on for days or weeks like that and then nothing ever happens other than some meaningless rhetoric or a sternly worded letter of disappointment.

The only time I've ever seen any sort of consequence come from Congress in these situations is Steve Bannon and that was purely political.

Otherwise Congress has been harder on Major League Baseball and the music industry than I've ever seen them be on a Federal worker, politician, MIC, airlines, Wallstreet, etc.
