We had a young girl die in our area a few years back because her parents prayed instead of taking her to the doctor.

This situation is sad, and totally sucks…. But what about in cases where the treatment is worse than the disease? (Think cancer)

You do not want any government agency no matter how big or small involved in your health decisions. Getting permission to treat kids who are a ward of the state was always a huge pain in the ass.

I am no way advocating for more government. I just hate kids suffering due to absolute stupidity.

The nuemanns basically got ran out of town because of this. They lost their pretty successful coffee shop.
 
Canada is paying dearly for stepping up in the sixties and trying to save children. They have twisted it into a “scoop” like everything was just perfect until the government stepped in to ensure children had the basic needs. You results may vary.
 
Back when government was simply corrupt, inefficient and incompetent, I could have been talked into gov't intervention in extreme cases. The last years (COVID madness and woke takeover of institutions) have made me FAR less likely to support such interventions.

The problem is that there are legitimate cases of abuse and neglect.

Its the reason all your kids in this country coming out stupid little fucks, because mom and dad cant do the ole five across the eyes, because child services will come cite yoy or take your kid

As long as parents are not TRYING to kill the kid, I am good with it. Obviously sexual abuse is a different thing all together.

This right here. Adopting a child is damn near impossible due to imminent danger to the child, from having a sports car in the garage, gun in the house, dirt bikes or street bikes. All of those are so dangerous to the life of a child they refuse to allow kids who desperately need a home to go to those potential great homes.

So yea fuck a subjective definition and honestly short of well documented physical or emotional abuse or some sort of documented torture including starvation its none of the governments business. Including withholding potential medical treatments that disagree with the parents beliefs. Remember this is the same government we are talking about that think the school has the ability to encourage your child to become trans, take hormone blockers and if the parents onject the government had and will take the child from the parent that objects.

So yea DWT fuck that shit. You want to let the government tell you and yours whats best for your immediate family thats a choice for you to make. Otherwise fuck off with your statist way of thinking for the rest of us

FYI washing your kids mouth out with soap for swearing at their mom and calling her a “fat bitch who doesn’t know shit.” CPS in Washington State will fucking take you kids for that. So yea fuck that and fuck any who think they know whats best for me and mine.

Safe and effective treatment for COVID in a child would be vitamins and rest, it's the common cold with the same mortality rate in kids.

The turbo sniffles didn't kill as many kids as rushing them to get the shots did so fuck your safe and effective treatment.

In our commie state they were full retard about labeling the COD Covid regardless of the actual COD. So an unvaxed kid dies of “Covid” and the parents get blamed by the state and by your statement their bodies should be on display.

I rather like giving parents free will to be parents. Vax your kid or not their choice. Home school or public their choice. Leave a sickness up to God. While I disagree with not at least exploring the options of western medicine, I feel it should be their choice. If the state feels it was neglect or murder they can try and build a case.

I know there are some supper shitty parents out there for sure. It the law of numbers and we are dealing with 100’s of millions in this country. But when these cases come up we typically hear about them, probably because the hospital is using the media and law enforcement to shame and intimidate the parents into what the hospital knows best. How often does a child die because a parent refused medical care?

Sometimes she vents to myself and my fiancé. It is horrific what children are subjected to.

Everything else in the world you need a license for except to be a parent. Any idiot or crack addict can become one.
 
The Amish will deny care to children based on their religious beliefs.

Around 15-20 years ago a local Amish girl had several health issues including heart problems. My FIL was friends with the girls dad and found out that she was at the Mayo Clinic and she had to leave there and go home.

There was two problems with that. The home nurse inspected their house and it was full of mold. And they needed electricity for a vacuum and sterilizer for her trach.

They discussed it with the elders and the elders said no electricity and the mold is no big deal. The nurse said she’ll definitely die from infection in her trach. The elders said it’s up to god if she lives or dies. No electricity.

The girls uncle had a building he wasn’t using that sat by itself on a lot. He told the dad he could put her there. They asked me about electricity but didn’t have much money because the elders wouldn’t approve it.

I got a vendor to donate materials and the REC to connect them for free. We put in two outlets for the vac and the sterilizer, and nothing else.

The girl healed up perfectly and is doing well. The dad is still shunned, the uncle is kind of shunned, and they never used the building for anything again because it was tainted. It’s tore down now I think.

Kids are a disposable tool to the Amish. We’ll never know how many they just let die that could be saved with a little effort.

Exactly, and how much longer will having any of those items be grounds for CPS to come kidnap your kids?

This is the problem with any kind of even the most limited power being granted to government agencies. Over time, those limits are diminished again and again until eventually there are no limits.

And given some of the extreme cases we've seen in the last decade, we're not too far away from the corrupt.gov kidnapping your children because you posted your opinion on social media, an opinion that merely disagreed with the approved narrative.

And it's not just about choosing health care vs no health care.

There was a case about a decade ago, IIRC, where CPS kidnapped a couple's daughter because they sought (and agreed with) a second opinion. The original doctor filed a case with CPS and they took her away.

Who gets to decide what is and what isn't "appropriate" medical care? The Government? FUCK NO! (See Ivermethecin vs Remdesovir during Covid).

IMO it doesn't need to be religious either. Choosing a homeopathic treatment vs the recommended medication from big pharma. Or deciding the extremely degraded quality of life for a 0.01% chance isn't worth it and choosing to make your child's life as comfortable as possible for their final days over a "treatment" that is going to hospitalize them and keep them miserable for their final days.

The Deep State wants to own and control over your children from before their birth. Of course their propaganda machine (mainstream media) is going to make the parents look like horrible evil people denying their children "appropriate" medical care in all of the situations I've just mentioned. Their solution, of course, kidnap the children from their parents and makes them wards of the state, which if the Deep State had their way is what they'd be from birth.

These same kids also hold their own with the firearms, every kid in camp has their own, a couple even are in competition shooting on the weekends, are having firearms in the house 'dangerous' to the kids? I see it as a defensive tool, and they know they can use it to put food on the table
You can do this forever, and you can play both sides of the argument, fly the :rainbow: in the yard, and I can connect mental disorders that will long term damage the kid

As a parent, I do know there are some things worth pulling all the stops out and using every resource to keep people from messing, or taking my kids. That one is worth going to jail for :grinpimp:
