What's new

Lets see your driveway! Competition for most pissed off wife

We have plenty of space but right now the Gambler 500 car is parked in the yard to unpack and clean out. She doesn’t care as long as her Rav4 isn’t blocked in. Plus I moved the lawn furniture instead of running it over.

ok filthy may give me a run for the money, the rest of y'all are on some rookie #s. you need to pump that shit up.

Somewhere in between. Friend had 2500 acres, he collected for years, I started contributing, gave him Fords, kept Chevys and others. He got Cancer and died in 2007, his wife said everythings gotta go. It all didn't but many did. I made the effort to sell what I could, got sick of dealing with lowball or can I buy a door assholes. Easy come easy go.
Maybe I'll post pics of some later.:grinpimp:
Yard at present: (some hidden layers in there too) This is why the Shitbox memes Wulf posts crack me up.

Wifes not liking the yard lately. Oh well.

It looks like you have a problem man. I would like to help. I see you have a tow bar on that Samurai already so let’s start there. Send me your address. I will be out in 2 weeks to pull that thing out of there. You don’t have to thank me, I am glad to help.

A dirt road that's a third of a mile long with trees on either side. Now, along the side and back of the house is another story.

I bought my engine driven welder from a guy like that. I take a left turn off the state highway down a dirt road and immediatly have to stop to let a flock of chickens cross the road. A couple miles later I turn at his mailbox. The entire 1/4mi driveway was lined with old cars starting with some 40s sedans and a school bus. As I drove toward the house the cars got steadily newer until it was 90s junk. When I rounded the bend toward the house a cow walks right up to the road and stares at me. Then I get to the house and the guy comes out. A bunch of rat dogs escape and his daughter goes chasing after them. Then he proceeds to show me the welder. To load it in my truck he walks into the woods and gets in this backhoe that's been just driven into the woods, not really parked in a space per say. Getting it out he nails a small tree dead center with the bucket and takes it down, no fucks given. I aspire to live like that some day.

Yawp. Guy kind of sounds like me.

I moved the gambler into the front yard so i could trim the tree that it sits under...and it died in the front yard while washing it for the first time in 4 years. There a 10x15 shed in the back yard with a motorcycle and car parts in it. Then at my parents house i have 2 trucks, a 20r whatever 5speed mounts to that, a aode and random car junk

My wife lets me buy whatever I want. Sucks for all you that think that you need permission. Although she did get a little grumpy when I had 3 campers in the yard last month, so I didn't share the profits when they sold.

My ex would do that. Complain that I bought something, complain that I spent time fixing it, complain that she couldnt spend the money I made selling it. Yeah, you aint gonna get something for nothing

I brought home a rusty fence row 1950 chevy on her birthday last year, and jokingly said it was her present. She snobbishly said “ I don’t want that crap”. I sold it 2 days later for a healthy profit, she asked where her present money was. I laughed at her. Most of the reason she doesn’t get upset about what i drag home is I almost always turn it for a profit, We also keep our play money separate so I don’t get upset when she drops $3000 on a bicycle.

Google needs to update their pictures of this area. Pretty sure I've added another 10 vehicles or so since these images were taken. I also have 6 vehicles at my house that are mostly runners with some minor repairs needed...

The name checks out. :flipoff2:

Finally got around to taking a couple of pics today. Left to right
32’ 2018 Sunseeker class C RV
closest to the garage is the wife’s 2012 Grand Cherokee
front of the driveway is my 2014 Ram 1500 sport
furthest back in the front yard under the cover is my Jeep
in front of that is my 71 Charger
Aluma 8218 aluminum trailer on the street in front of the house is mine too

the truck is usually a bit further back than that but the wife went out today and didn’t park her GC close enough to the garage door to let me get the truck all the way in.

The driveway ain't bad, my two trucks and her car are the only thing out there. I don't exactly landscape it but I did take the burned up fencing down and I try to keep the weeds knocked down. The side yard on the other hand, she bitches about... a lot. My collection of shit has far outgrown my storage so the really derelict bikes go out here along with the pressure washer and air compressor because I just don't have any other place for them right now.

I am a neat freak when it comes to junk outside. I've got a couple things laying around now, and it's driving me nuts!

The guy I just bought a Ford 9" from had rats running all over his property, junk everywhere, and called himself a hoarder. No thanks.
