Labor Day Weekend

Buddy hit the wall hard last night racing. Couldn’t load it on his trailer so I’m going back there Monday to load it on mine. At least he was hauling ass when he ran out of talent. I’d have been pissed if he was driving miss daisy in the pack and got caught up in someone else’s bullshit.

Wife has been wanting a secure area for the dogs to be able to go outside and do their business whenever they want. Been putting this off for ages but the wife convinced me to get moving on it today. Hit up Home Depot for some prefab barricade fence panels, posts, concrete, lumber, etc and went ahead and got started today. There is a dog door in the mudroom that we’ve had blocked off for ages and we never use the man door there either. So we figured it was as good a place as any. Tomorrow I’ll hopefully finish up the stringers and get the roof on it and lattice the open ends so the cats can’t get loose

I've got a house full of sick people I've been caring for all week. Looks like it will continue right through the weekend. Hoping I do not get sick, but the odds are not in my favor.

Knock on wood, not sick yet. Weekend isn't over yet, though.

Traffic was none existent today on the co run. I have a huge spool of 3/4” cable I was hauling and another brush hog. Well the wire I had holding the pto shaft broke and I lost half of my shaft. I put the roll of cable on a pallet to make it easier to move. That heavy mother fawker smashed it to pieces by the time we got here. It was all I could do to load it with my fork lift. Every time I backed up it pulled a wheelie. Would only steer when I gunned it. Unloading is going to suck tomorrow.

I have to pick up another TL140 Tuesday up at the springs. Ac/heat on this one, when I get back I’ll put the ls180 up for sale.

Finished installing this range hood. Previous home owners (same ones who did the mint tile work) just didn't have one, probably because zero thought went into having the stove in a convenient place for it. Hopefully it works well enough ductless, getting it vented outside is gonna be a pain in the dick.

kitchen sink decided to start leaking sat night, the garbage disposal was dripping out the bottom ,rusted out or seal is bad. Local hardware store is closed until Tuesday, made a run to Home Depot today for new drain pipe( 160 mile trip) I deleted the garbage disposal, installed new drain pipe, connected dishwasher hose. The wife is in a better mood now !!!!!!!

Was gonna work in the garage... but 88* and 98% humidity does not sound pleasant.

May go with a friend to look at a couple of rangers he is interested in.

Trying to get him to ignore the 6 cyl and stay with a I4 5 spd. 6cyl with a 5 speed would be better than auto.
Dang. Hit 40* as a high here. Snowed earlier today.

Shit.... Water bill indicated I used 7K gallons of water last month. I recently installed a freeze proof hydrant where an old drip irrigation was connected. I figure I am leaking 3K gallons somewhere! Tied into to an existing sch40 PVC with PEX. I need to dig up the PVC and follow it back to where it is tied into the main feed line. Started digging tonight, lots of moist soil but no mud; haven't foud the PVC connection! :flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

If I can't find it tomorrow; calling in a plumber on Tuesday. Fuck this shit! :flipoff:

ZLine. Probably Chinese shit but you can spend so much money on one of these that compromise had to happen somewhere. Buttons feel cheap but aside from that so far so good. Wasn't very impressed with home Depot carrying them but not the charcoal filters for the ductless configuration though.

Fucking ducted hoods pull in external hot or cold air....IMHO: They should have a local fresh air supply. Dang it; I keep my house tight with fresh weather stripping. But the fucking hood will actually hold doors open. I use the damm thing sparingly. :smokin::smokin::smokin:
BTW: Fucking nice to toss filters into dish washer from time to time. :homer::homer::homer:
